Hampton Inn
1 review for Hampton Inn
Oh Winter Haven. Well, it's in the middle of no where Florida. It's claim to fame is Cypress Gardens. Driving in at 9 pm, I wasn't expecting much of it. It's tucked behind a Red Lobster and an Outback.
Inside, I was surprised. It was clean, the staff was friendly and recently updated. My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities expects from a Hampton Inn. The business center isn't big...there is one computer and printer which was a pain because kids kept hopping on for hours at a time surf the web. I wanted to print my boarding pass dammit!
The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is because they are building a new Holiday Inn right next door. There are rocks all over the parking lot and driving a rental car makes it sort of perilous. I could have cared less if my personal car was dinged but having a rental car makes me a bit paranoid.
Now, I don't expect I'll be back to Winter Haven anytime soon, but if I am...I'll probably be at the Hampton Inn. And that might be because it's the only hotel in town.
