Arch - Laclede's Landing (MetroLink)
I don't think you can beat this hotel for the price. The area is fantastic, as Charles W mentioned, great for stumbling home from the casinos/landing area. The rooms are standard Hampton Inn, which is fine, though there is no wireless in the room. There is free internet on the hardline, but bring a longer Cat5 cable if you want to work from anywhere but the desk.
Parking is cheap at $10 a night and secure.
If I ever find myself in St. Louis again, I will make my best effort to stay here, even if it means I am sucked in by that evil monster Gamblar, taking my money.

Solid location, perfect for losing your shirt on the casino and stumbling home in a drunken stupor or dancing your face off at a nearby bar.
Rooms are nice, nothing special. Incredible toilet flushing power...if you are the kind of person that needs that.
Some rooms have a nice view of the Arch, which is great for about two seconds, then you get bored because it's just a giant Arch.

I love Hampton Inns. You know what you're going to get: well-designed, comfortable rooms, free internet and breakfast, at a good price.
This one is conveniently located just off the northeast corner of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (the Arch). The staff were super-helpful.
We paid $116+15% tax for a room on a busy Friday (big Cardinals game), and parking was $10.
