Review from Johnny G.
Redondo Beach, CA
Another example of time flying by too quickly.
Our stay at the Hampton Inn was great. Excellent double-room with the jacuzzi and 2 TV's.
The curtains were doubled for that nice timeless feeling when you wake up at 8AM and it's still pitch black like 3AM...
No noise from hallway or next door rooms.
The breakfast was actually good. Lots of things to choose from; omelets, fruit, yogurt, danishes, cereal, muffins, potatoes, coffee, juices, and FRESH (do it yourself) WAFFLES!!
We did not have the opportunity to use the outdoor pool, or jacuzzi, but they seemed clean and well-kept. -

I had mixed feelings about this hotel based on reviews per http://Tripadvisor.com and such. Oh man was I surprised!
I was super excited when I arrived at the hotel to plan something special for my gf. I love how the parking garage is located near the registration desk so you don't have to hull your luggage far.
When checking in, the lobby was bright and gorgeous. Guest Services were very accommodating and helpful. I even got a free snack-sized Oreo and bottled water upon checking in. Weird, but awesome! Upon entering the suite I was impressed by the clean white bed, the 2 flat panel lcd tvs, the whirlpool jacuzzi with mirrors to the side and the balcony.
Best of all, they have free breakfast daily from 6 am - 10 am which had fresh eggs (these were like mini omelets with cheese folded in), pork sausages, bagels, muffins, breads, fruits, yogurt, 3 different cereals, orange, apple, and grapefruit juice, 4-5 different teas, pineapple and custard pastries, and you can make your own waffles and they even have peanut butter and jelly! Holy mackerals, I just want to drive here every morning for breakfast and the best part, they won't even know whether you're staying here or not...I won't do that though, but hint-hint.
Definitely updated hotel with many in-room amenities like 4 coffee packets, 3 sets of shampoo/conditioner/moisterizer, 6 sets of towels, 2 bath robes, and so much more.
If you plan on staying in a quiet, Mediterranean climate town, you can save some money by signing up on Hilton Rewards prior to booking your room. I spent $140 after tax for a Friday night in their whirlpool suite with a King bed. Can't wait to come back during the Summer months. -

Really nice hotel...clean, friendly, and a great location. It's not a hotel if you want to be right on the beach, but the prices are great!

For the price this place it very nice. The built in whirl pool was amazing I hopped in at night and had to do it again in the morning. 2 Flat screen tvs in each room so you can watch it in bed and in the jacuzzi. Lastly the service was great breakfast wasn't bad and there are plenty of towels!

Comfort & Convenience! I travel to San Clemente on business a couple of times per year, and this is a great place to stay. Ok, it is just east of the freeway, so you have some freeway noise, but you can see the ocean, plus the suites are very comfortable with a completely separate bedroom and living room, plus microwave and fridge. Internet connection is free and reliable. Breakfast is included, and though not spectacular, has various options including fresh whole fruit, cut fruit medley, yogurt, several bread/pastry options, cereal, as well as two chafing dishes of hot (but mediocre) breakfast items. So you can always find something decent to get you jumpstarted.

Review from Sophie K.
Mesa, AZ
This old, worn hotel is located next to Interstate and a busy street. It is NOISY and needs renovating. The staff at the front desk is rude. When we booked we asked for a quiet room away from the interstate. We were told to book the suite/room which we did. We checked several times on the room and again the front desk told us we would have a quiet room. When we arrived, soon after 3PM, we were offered rooms next to the ice machine, or Interstate or elevator. Another room had the bedroom when you entered the room and the living room in the back of the room. These rooms were dimly lit and small. You could hear the kids running in the hall and the people walking down the hall. All these rooms were NOISY. The front desk staff did not take responsibility for the false info they told us on the phone regarding a quiet room. We left this hotel and found a quiet hotel nearby. HIlton customer service did not call us back. The GM Mr. Patel of this hotel did not respond either. We are no longer Hilton customers. The staff seems to lure people into this hotel under false pretenses. If Mr. Patel or the Hilton really cared about what their guests think they would have gladly responded to our complaint and compensated us for our inconvenience.
