We stayed at the Hampton Inn New Years Eve 2011. I loved the free alcohol and popcorn from 5-7.  They had free breakfast too but I was disappointed when I tasted it.  The eggs were the just-add-water kind and the home fries were frozen and reheated.  I know this because one home fry actually squirted me with water.  Stick with the fruit and cereal.  They had a small pool here that was infested with screaming children.
The rooms were clean, standard hotel rooms.
The best part about the Hampton Inn was the life saving shuttle they provided at 1 am from the Sheraton where the party was back to the hotel.  Since it was impossible to get a cab on NYE we would have been stranded another 2 hours if it didn't come to save us.

Never was a fan of Hampton Inns before this one.  Each morning that put a large free breakfast and not just bagels!  The afternoons have happy hour and free drinks from 5-7pm!  Can't beat that!

Best part is the staff.  Friend lost a ring and the staff went in the trash and found it.!  Extremely nice and helpful, makes it a pleasure to go back.  Free cookies at 9pm!

Two minor things are keeping me from giving 4 stars.  I stay in a lot of Hampton Inns and most have upgraded to better TV's.  The one in the room is an older model with a horrible picture, at least compared to todays HDTV's.  2nd is room serivce.  I was here for 4 nights which means I needed room service for 3 days.  The first day I was back at 4PM and they had yet to make it to my room so I cancelled them and got some new towels for me and roommate.  The 2nd full day I asked for service before 2PM as I'd be back by then.  They did this and they did a good job.  The third full day we were back at 3 PM and no room service.  One wonders if they don't need more help.
The hotel is a nice one with good desk staff and a decent breakfast.

My recent stay at the Hampton Inn was extremely pleasant. My husband and I recently were transferred back to the mainland due to the military and we traveled across country, from LA to NY, and stayed mainly at Hampton Inns. We also own a rottweiler and they really don't mind, as long as he's quiet. This Hampton Inn was no exception. Originally, they only accept pets no larger than 50lbs, but I wrote the hotel and told them my situation and they told me to come on down anyways and that we were more than welcome to stay! How awesome! Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional. I would stay back in a heartbeat.

Made my reservations a month before arrival. Arrived in the evening and found they had overbooked the hotel and my room was not available. Made up some excuse that the military took my king size bed and jacuzzi tub for themselves due to the weather and their flight was delayed. They likely hoped that we wouldn't show up so they could bill us for a no show and receive another room charge. Never attempted to call us to inform us of "their situation". The clerk got us a room at the Holiday Inn across the highway, but didn't bother to tell us it was a double bed. By then we were too tired to care and took it. Will never go to a Hampton Suites again.
