I'll start out by professing my bias. I love Hampton Inns. Like a lot. When I travel I will only NOT stay in a Hampton Inn if one is not there or they don't have any vacancies.
That said, THIS Hampton Inn is frickin' awesome! All the usual super Hampton amenities (free breakfast, cookies in the lobby, super nice staff, etc.) plus a 24 hour exercise room AND pool! And if you are here for the long haul, they even have a place to do your laundry! If you are ever staying in Kalispell, I highly recommend this hotel. -

It's a good hotel, but oddly out of proportion - but maybe that's because I usually stay in large cities and they have enough room here to make things outside (what is this, Texas?)
The hallway to the rooms is wider than usual, and the sink is separate from the tub/toilet - that room is also overly big too. Having elbow room is great - but the layout is awkward.
Otherwise, a decent place to stay. -

This Hampton Inn is like the others - its clean, decent beds, free breakfast, but the people at the front desk are not very friendly. Cold is the right word. I left too early to eat breakfast, but it was the same yogurt, coffee, juice etc..it's nice. I guess the rooms are nice/fine - it's just service that bugged me. I saw the man at the front desk check in a Hilton rewards member (not that that should matter) check him in without even looking up - not greeting the guest, not even smiling when the man approached and made a little joke - I felt like I needed to give the man an obligatory chuckle...wow, how is it possible that the room could be fine, the hotel could be fine and i'm still not satisfied - say it - service IS IMPORTANT - can't buy a friendly face here!
