Well, the construction made it damn near impossible to get there and no one thought to mention that when we made our reservations by phone earlier in the day.  Then we were given a room with a toilet that wouldn't flush and the staff couldn't figure out what to do about it, so I demanded a plunger and plunged it myself.  They also only gave us half a wifi access code, so we couldn't get online until we'd accomplished some further wrangling with the staff.  At breakfast the next morning they served some seriously sketchy incredibly processed faux eggs with faux ham and faux cheese, sugary cereals, burnt coffee, and lots of stale-looking pastries.  Oh, and the room was super stuffy, so we left the window open and were serenaded by the sound of truck traffic on the interstate.  It would have been just as restful had we driven through the night rather than stopping here.
