While in the Atlanta area last week, I stayed at the Hampton Inn. This particular location is about 25-30 miles outside the city in Duluth. Now I understand this isn't the Ritz Carlton, but this place was super nice and the right price. When I entered the lobby, it was as if I had entered into some type of lodge, with wooden frames/beams, a big fireplace, comfy furniture and a huge plasma TV.
Other amentities included:
24 hour snack shop (with alcohol)
Outdoor pool
24 hour free internet on lobby desktop
Free in-room internet with own laptop
Small exercise room (treadmill, stairmaster, eliptical, and bike)
Complimentary coffee/tea and apples all day
Continental breakfast (with a lot of extras)
The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Also, HI replaced all of their old beds with new customized Hampton Beds by Serta. They claim you'll be on Cloud Nine. Cloud nine - I don't know, but comfortable indeed. Also, the bathroom was very spacious - I didn't find myself bumping into the toliet while climbing into the shower - which is a good thing.
Lastly, I'll mention that HI's are part of the Hilton Hotel chain. With this said, you can count on the fact that all HI's will be up to par in whichever city you're visiting. I say this especially since I've found this not to be true with some other chains, which have been hit or miss over the years. Only negative - that whore Paris Hilton might somehow benefit from your business.
AAA accepted.
