What's cool about this place is that it's one of the few nice hotels we could find near SFSU in daly city.  Plus it's next to hella food places for the late night munchies.  It's very clean, and the breakfasts are GOOD.  They had little mini yogurt, one of which I took on my way out.

Why this place isn't getting the five stars: The parking garage is a little creepy.  You have to go down a ramp to get to it...or through the back, which is easier.  Also one of the elevators was broken the whole weekend we were there.  It was trippy because they didn't even cover it or block it...it was just a dark elevator that was kept open.  WEIRD.  Haha.  Inside the elevator it said "I scream, you scream" which the people who I was staying with and I are still trying to understand WHY???

Nice place.

the GOOD:

Few Friendly employees
Nice hot breakfast
Free WiFi
One of the front desk agents even took the time to write out an entire lists of clubs she had gone to nearby filled out with...ghetto,mixed,goodmusic hahaha she was awesome
They held our luggage and helped us when we were in a rush to make it to sfo
Gave us a map for the bart and printed which one to take with the price
Called a cab for us

The BAD
The location is sort of random still 10min walk to the Bart with nothing else really around
The Police station right outside our window calls for 20cop cars with sirens going in and out of their lot throughout the nite
The BAD ODOR...stay away from ROOM 308!!! wtf...seriously it was like the sewer. not only did it smell that bad in the restroom i got the bed next to the restroom and it smelled like they hid rotten eggs under the bed...
when we asked if we could switch they only had smoking rooms left THEN whn we asked again the next day a different front desk agent was ruuuuuuude
the night auditor?  yelled at me when i asked for the wifi code...ugh some hospitality

Great Hilton brand hotel to stay at.  Still fairly new and the rooms are decent size.  Beds are comfy, but I didn't sleep much here as we had a get together w some friends in the area.  Small breakfast area w/ coffee served in the mornings.  Nice staff and gym/pool is downstairs.
Quiet area next to the freeway off of 280.

Great little hotel!

I stayed here one night *SMILE*. We walked in to see if they had any rooms available. The front desk staff was kinda sketchy at first, but they saw how *tired* we were, so they gave us a nice clean room. We parked behind the hotel (covered - although they have uncovered parking also) and entered thru the back. We settled into our nice little room and feel asleep.

The room was clean, bathroom was well supplied, fitness center was okay too. They had continental breakfast in the morning, but since we were so tired from the night before, we didn't get up in time for free food.

I would highly recommend this place if you don't want the hustle bustle business of downtown or the noisy freeways / airport in south sf. Location is very good - close to the freeway, near fast food joints such as McDonalds, In & Out, Krispy Kreme, Mr. Pickles *just behind the hotel*, Chinese Food, Kukje Supermarket, Dominos, and a couple of filipino places.

I stayed here to be close to my daughter who is attending San Francisco State University.  The room was very large, clean, nice bathroom.  The room was quiet and had great black out curtains.  Breakfast was excellent: plenty of cut fresh fruit, whole fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals as well as an egg dish etc. and four blends of coffee.  Service in the hotel was excellent.  The front desk is especially helpful, well trained, and anxious to do what ever was necessary to make my stay a pleasant one.

Stayed here while they were working on our house, and it's a great looking hotel. As far as I experienced, the rooms are clean (didn't bring the black light to confirm) as well as the pool and the mini gym they have downstairs. They have continental breakfast which I couldn't get enough (their sausage patties were just to good to resist), and it's conveniently located next to lots of restaurants if you don't want room service. A great, somewhat inexpensive place to stay if you don't want to stay in San Francisco while on vacation.
