Contrary to the other 2 reviews, I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn during my trip to Chattanooga. Although the neighborhood surrounding the Hampton Inn is a tad rough, I never felt unsafe here. The hotel doesn't appear to be anything special from the outside but upon entering the lobby, I was blown away!
This hotel was decorated very well and must have either been recently built or renovated because the style was fresh, the place was clean, and incredibly inviting. The front desk staff person, Brian, a local Chattanoogan, was cordial and completely willing to answer my dozen or so questions about where to go, what to eat, recommendations around town and the like. We had made an online reservation so our check-in process was seamless. Also, a security guard is stationed outside in the parking lot to keep watch over the patrons' cars.
Our room was on the second floor and it was clean and comfortable. Brian, the desk man, even called us in our room to make sure it was up to our satisfaction! There was free WiFi, a free breakfast buffet in the morning, coffee and hot tea all day, and cookies in the afternoon. The Hampton Inn also provides many local coupons and discounts for restaurants and attractions which helped save a pretty penny or two.
I would definitely book another stay at this Hampton Inn on a subsequent visit to Chattanooga!Listed in: Taken to Chattanooga

They have flatscreens in the rooms, but no weights in the gym and they need to upgrade the treadmill to a Precor or equivalent.

I had a decent stay at this Hampton Inn. It was nice to go to a city where I wasn't charged for parking my car for once. The check in was quick and easy, the front desk was very helpful, and the rooms were cozy. To make this place better: they need a jacuzzi and a better gym with some free weights.
