The Hampton Inn is a fine place to stay when imbibing in the Temecula Valley Harvest Festival. Fine as in serviceable: the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the cost isn't exorbitant.
Avoid the complimentary breakfast; sad to say, but you'll do much better at Denny's across the street. The food is either frozen or pre-packaged; none of it is fresh-baked.
One would hope that with all of the new development in the area and the attention to the wineries, some boutique hotels and cafes would spring up soon. Until that happens, Hampton is a good, basic deal.
This is a great value. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable and all the rooms have big screen TVs. The locatoin is walking distance to Old Town.
If it's not Vegas, I absolutely love staying at Hampton Inns. Especially the newer ones. They usually have clean rooms, good service, free wireless internet, a good complimentary breakfast, and most importantly -- a Very Comfortable Bed. The sheets are soft and fluffy and you've got a choice between a cotton or goose down pillow.
The one at Temecula is no exception. Visit the wineries, then stay here for the night instead of terrorizing the road =).
