I normally LOVE Hampton Inns but this one failed in one area: front desk service. The evening shift specifically was particularly perfunctory in greeting guests. READ: non-caring and not very friendly--more distracted than attentive.
They also failed in other service areas generally.
They had an Internet "Business Center" that was open but had no connectivity.
The room was good but again the horrid AC unit was placed so that it blew on you no matter where you sat or slept. I ended up having to put the ironing board in front of it with some towels just to keep the fan indirect.
They had a complementary shuttle that was late and really failed me when I needed it to get me to my appointment.
Overall I was disappointed; hope this is an isolated case.
