I just stayed here a few days ago while I was back in town visiting. Very nice hotel.
I was pleased that it was downtown, only seconds away from Baywalk, the museum, the pier, Vinoy Park, shops on central ave. , Janus Landing...etc.
A very good location for a hotel- especially with all the new construction and new stores/restaurants coming in !
The rooms were nice, room 222 has a beautiful large balcony. Request a room with a larger balcony, some of them are private and could accomodate 40 people if they had to, while others are very tiny. There's an outdoor pool on the second floor as well as a small gym. The maids were very helpful when we asked questions. Free breakfast is served from 7am-10am, this includes muffins, eggs, juices, coffee, fruit, cereal and yogurts..enough to fill you up. There's a store at the front desk in case you forget anything, but the Publix grocery store is 2 blocks away and I suggest going there if you need things- a little less expensive.
Only downside to the hotel was the 10 dollar a day valet parking. You have to call ahead 30mins prior to wanting your car in order for them to bring it out. I also didn't enjoy tipping them every time I wanted my car since I was already paying 10 dollars a day. You can come and go as many times in a day as you want on that 10 dollars.
Located right near Baywalk. The location is quite convenient. and close to the water. The rooms were clean and there was a gym and outdoor pool. The only thing is that if you drive and stay here, you will be responsible for $10/day valet parking charges (though this does come with in and out priveleges). Street parking is not necessarily easy to find. Staff was friendly and rates were not ridiculous. Would stay again.
