We visited for Labor Day weekend using my hilton hhonors points.  The room would've cost $310 a night, which I WOULD NOT have paid for this hotel.  The hotel is clean and very well situated on the island.  It's very family oriented, so probably not a great location for a romantic weekend away with your sweetheart.  

If I got a good deal on the price, I'd stay here again.

Very nice Hampton Inn on the beach. The place is pretty new (a few years old) and sit on the oceanside. It is south of Corolla. The beach is nice since it sits away from the beach houses on both the north and south sides, so the beach is not usually crowded. We come here after Labor Day when the weather is still nice, crowd are less and prices are a little more reasonable for an oceanfront room. The pool is a little small but I come here for the ocean.
