This is ALWAYS where I stay when I'm in Camarillo for work. I mean, there's not too much for options here - but this place is quite decent so far as business travel goes.

My only complaint about this place in the past had been the sub par fitness room....however, it has recently been renovated with a new treadmill, bike, elliptical, 2 benches and dumbbells, medicine balls and balance balls. There is also a new TV in there - plus the individual TVs on the cardio equipment. Horray for the new fitness room!

Decent hotel. First off when we got there our 3 reservations had mysteriously disappeared, and the front desk was pretty much clueless. We don't know what happened. They did honor our group rate and upgraded one of the rooms to a king, which was nice. My bf and I got to our room and the keys didn't work. He goes down there and they treat him like he's completely retarded for not opening the door despite the fact he's a hotel manager in Seattle and knows how hotel keys work. The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. It would have been nice if there were regular pillows in addition to down pillows due to allergies, but I might be nit-picking a bit. Room had a fridge, microwave, table and nice bathroom. Breakfast bar was okay, nothing special. During our stay part of the wedding party got stuck in the elevator and the fire dept. had to be called to blow up the door to free everyone. I would partially place the blame on drunken shenanigans until the fire dept. told us this was the 3rd time this has happened in a month. Final review, nice hotel with decent rates, but crappy service.
