I spend more than half the year in hotels on business, but usually end up in something less expensive such as a Best Western, Holiday Inn or La Quinta. That being said, I have never had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn and if money were not an issue, I would seek out a Hampton Inn in every town I stayed in.
This one is very new and clean. The room was quiet and comfortable and the bed luxurious.
The front desk people were friendly and helpful.
The gym, though small as most hotel gyms are, has three new-looking Precor cardio machines, as well as a set of Precor dumbells, a bench, a fitness ball and a stretching mat.
The continental breakfast had Yoplait Yogurt in addition to the usual items such as waffles, sausage, cereals, etc. Being a big yogurt fan, I was quite pleased with this. And being the Seattle coffee-snob that I am, I was not offended by the coffee served downstairs. I bring my own coffee and filters with me, but this is one of the hotels with those single serving coffee makers in the rooms, so making my own coffee wasn't possible with that setup. I've tried before using McGyver-like techniques and the result was extremely messy to say the least.
