I can't believe that no Yelpers (at least seemingly) have discovered this fantastic gem in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. The cuisine at this Aegean Turkish Mediterranean restaurant, which specializes in seafood, is phenomenal...the best I've had in quite awhile. And the service was about as professional as it gets anywhere. The soft, fluffy warm bread served when we first sat down was delicious with olive oil. The lightly battered fried calamari appetizer was scrumptious, and included my favorite--the tentacles. For our main entree, My girlfriend ordered the whole Mediterranean sea bass and I had a dish comprised of tender, juicy chunks of lamb over rice with grilled peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Both dishes were fabulous.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was so remarkable that I literally stuffed myself beyond the limit of fullness...I was ready to explode. And of course we had to squeeze down dessert, which was not easy to decide from considering the amount of tasty delights they had. We settled on sharing the baklava, which was served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My gosh, it was so awesome.

After an afternoon of running errands and building up a hunger, I was so glad that my girlfriend spotted this place as we were driving through the area down Emmons Ave completely starving.

I have to say that I am seldomly this impressed with a restaurant. The food and service were extremely awe-inspiring, and I was impressed by the simple aquatic adorned decor. Literally nestled close to the actual bay in Sheepshead, and with warm weather right around the corner, I'm looking forward to patronizing this restaurant on several more occasions this summer...most definitely!!
