There website claims they are a 5-star experience, so hell, why not give them five stars.
They van you to the top of a volcano and you bike down, unguided, through a eucalyptus forest and some scenic views. A must do. Don't know which biking company is the best but this one is unsupervised, which I prefer. -

I had to post this finally because I just saw a little girl fly over the handle bars on rugged pavement around a blind corner and almost got ran over by 2 huge lifted trucks. This has to be the most stupid and dangerous activity you could do while on maui. Sooo many people get seriously injured or die! thats right die. kids die parents die someone in your family you bike with. its not worth it, also you are putting yourself and local drivers at risk because we cant see you and your family riding in the middle of the lane with no shoulder going 5-10 mph on a bike in a 30 mph zone going around numerous blind corners with trucks in both directions with no shoulders. also we have HUGE lifted trucks here that dont quite fit in the lanes. You have people who haven't been on a bike in years ride down a volcano with traffic in both directions with no bike lane or shoulder so you are sharing a lane with traffic and lets admit here no one drives 30mph in the 30 mph zone more like 50mph against bikers around blind corners in the middle of the road. people get hit by cars all the time, people die. and locals get the blame for hitting them when its not even their fault. they shouldn't be allowed. I have friends that worked for this company and i heard some crazy stories, I will share one: A family was cruzing down the mountain doing the bike tour, a young girl visiting maui with only her auntie. While cruzing down the mountain on their "safe" GUIDED bike tour, they went around a blind turn and the young girls auntie got completely smashed by a huge truck. She was totally pancaked to the cement and her niece had to witness it all. Just one example of many stories like this one. The roads are terrible as well potholes and cracks everywhere, that is why i think the girl today flew over the handlebars and slid on the rugged pothole corroded pavement, she was bouncing all around think hit a pothole and just flew! her mom almost hit her and the cars behind them. hope everyone is all right shit....

Great tour guide (Frank) and going into the volcano park was a nice experience.
Unfortunately, afterwards, the "Gary Fisher" bikes they give you to ride down the hill are in bad condition: poor brakes, scratched up, bald tires. It makes it kinda scary to go downhill.
Very disappointed in their representations that the bikes are "like new" - BS. They're all POS bikes. I've seen nicer bikes for $125 on the racks at Walmart and Kmart. This place needs work.
