Hair We Are

Really nice people. They worked me in for a same-day appointment, luckily.. Daniel, who cut my hair, took the time to ask me about my habits: how do I style my hair? Do I ever need to tie it back? Do I tend to tuck it behind my ears? I was impressed that he questioned me so thoughtfully, and gave me the best haircut I've had in a while: flattering and easy to care for.

The salon is nice, and had an enticing selection of coffees and goodies.

The price was not high considering how good the service was.

When I was unable to get an appointment at my usual place in Wellesley for a last minute event, I decided to take my chances and try somewhere closer to where I live, so I walked in to Hair We Are in Westborough.

So glad I did! Daniel agreed to take me and stayed later than his normal shift to do so! I just needed a quick blowout and he did a wonderful job! Best of all, it was ONLY $25!!! I am used to paying DOUBLE for the same result out in Wellesley- never again!

Daniel is my new guy- been going back ever since! I recently got a scalp massage and a new cut, both amazing! I am so glad I found this place! Highly recommend Hair We Are!

I had my first Deva cut from Sarah this weekend and cannot imagine how I lived without it! She is amazing! She gave a thorough consultation, and amazing cut with tips and instruction on how to make my hair the curliest!!!

I used to get my hair cut here all the time when I lived in the area. I was one of those people who used to be nervous to get my hair cut, because I always felt like they would mess it up. But after having Gail do my hair time after time, that anxiety completely vanished. I ended up usually telling her what I was thinking and then letting her use her professional vision to make it happen. I got my hair done here for my wedding. along with all the girls in my wedding party. They worked to accommodate us with a large party on a Saturday morning, which was wonderful. Now that I've moved away I'm sad to not be able to come here anymore! The salon itself is really cute. They always have good complimentary coffee and treats. You can get your nails done there as well. Some of the more popular stylists do book up pretty far in advance though, so I would book your appointments early to make sure you can get in!

OK so I have been trying to find a great hairdresser in the Westboro area. This has been so hard. I have tried many, but no matter who I went to my hair looked dried and horrible. I found I was always putting it up or wearing a hat. Then I stumbled upon Fran McGill- she took time and really figured out what to do to fix my hair. I walked out of there 2 hours later and my hair not only looked fantastic but it feels fantastic. I am telling you - I buy every product for my hair have been to so many salons, but Fran was the first one who really took the time to fix the problem, not rush through and just make it worse. The cut and color were fantastic! I can't recommend her highly enough. Not to mention she is a warm, wonderful person. You really feel at home.
