Hair Waves is one stylist...Lisa (there may be another stylist now,  I am not certain)....and sessions can be done either at the Boulder shop, or at a salon in Lyons,  which is called, I believe, the Lyons Mane.  I usually go to Hair Waves in Boulder,  as it's closer to home for me.  I went to the shop in Lyons once and it was a pleasant drive and felt more like a mini-adventure.  

Since my life consists mostly of work, family, sleep, and business, experiences that would be commonplace for many seem like adventures to me!!

Lisa is an excellent hair stylist.  She does cuts, color, and everything in between.  I've seen men and women in her shop, and she probably does children's cuts/styling too.

She does a great job with the foil coloring.  I'm not going to reveal here what I get done; that's a woman's prerogative, right?  I know my hair looks all-white in the picture here, but behind the scenes there's a different reality going on.

I've gone to Lisa for years and always been super-pleased with her work.  She is great to talk to during the hair sessions, and is detail-oriented and a real artist with hair.    She really listens when one tells her what they want to do with their hair,  and then she does it.

And that's just how it should be.

I find her prices to be reasonable in comparison with similar salons.  Of course there are the cheapo salons, but I have not ever gotten the quality results at a cheapo salon that I've gotten with Lisa at Hair Waves.
