So Mothers Day comes along and I open the card my eldest gave me, and inside was a gift certificate for Hair Healers... I look over and throw one eyebrow up and ask my daughter "Are you trying to tell me something"?
She really wasn't, as she had been raving about this place and found this opportunity to give me the gift... of beauty!
So together we trek down on a nice rainy Saturday to make my golden locks luxuriosly moisturized and to take some of the split ends off. Steph has a relationship with the owner as she has been there many times, so she made the appointment with the owner Dania.
My appointment was for 4:30 and since Steph and I were chatting away like we always do when we find ourselves alone, we had not noticed that it was already 5PM until Dania herself came to us apologized and told me that the moisturizing treatment was going to be comped for our trouble.
Say WHAAAA???? WOW, I was like uh you don't have to do that .. ok I said that in my mind. To her I replied "Thank you, that would be much appreciated". I mean really, at what salon aren't they running late? I was very impressed by the good service.
When she took care of me, she listened to what I wanted and I was thrilled when she showed me exactly what she would cut off, and said that if I wanted more than she would happily do it for free within a week.
The cut is excellent, and the hair treatment they did was very good, leaving my hair soft and hydrated.
It is an unassuming place in a plain neighborhood but its well worth going to!
Dania is the best! She always listens and only cuts off EXACTLY what I ask. She is honest but doesn't chastise me for dry hair like I've oh-so-often otherwise encountered. And she is always offering "thank yous" for bringing in referrals by way of conditioning treatments and discounts on gift certificates. She is also just a wonderful lady and gets so excited to see you. She always remembers every haircut and encounter with each client and uses that to create the perfect hairstyle everytime. She also has a guarantee that if you don't like your hair you have a week to come in and get it fixed for free! I have never been so confident in a stylist, I literally close my eyes and relax when she's cutting my hair. Great service! Everyone is SO nice! It's a little hidden and hard to get to but definitely worth it!!!
