Full marks to Sarah for:
Taking me as a walk-in client twenty minutes before they were about to close;
not giving me any grief for coming in close to closing;
giving me a great simple haircut in about fifteen minutes;
being friendly and chatty without trying to talk my ear off;
doing a great job on my hair despite the low price she charged and the vague instructions I gave her;
being able to make executive decisions about what sort of cut would look best on me and my face instead of asking for my approval on every single snip the way some stylists do;
and a great attitude throughout.
For $15 + tip my hair looks fab and it barely took any time out of my day. Awesome!
P.S. I was most amused when she asked if I had a girlfriend. Maybe I'm not as obvious as I thought!
I've been going to this location for a few years, and while I'm not a frequent customer by any stretch of the imagination, I am a pleased customer. There's a pretty high turnover in hair stylists - in the last year, two people that cut my hair moved to other salons - but they've all been good, competent stylists.
So I keep coming back here, because the location is so close and I've had good experiences. There might be better places in town, but if they're not convenient to get to I'll probably never try them!
I know my minimal hair isn't the most "difficult" to manage, but having gone to Sarah for at least the last 5+ years, she consistently does a great job. Always pleasant, well priced, and very flexible, I highly recommend her.
I've been going to this place consistently for the past 6-7 years and they've never done me wrong. Sarah always puts her full attention in giving you the best haircut and I wouldn't trust anybody with my hair but her. If I were rich enough I'd fly her over to my place if i'd ever move. Couldn't part with her lol
