Melanie M.Ashburn, VA014Aug 12, 2023Koni is awesome, but the shampoo bowl is atrocious! It's so uncomfortable. I leave there with neck pain all the time. If it wasn't for Koni, I would find another place, but I've been going to koni for years.

Mai is the best stylist I have had in years! She is friendly and I immediately felt comfortable talking with her. We talked about what I wanted and she checked out my hair length all around, my texture, etc. Mai understood my hair type (unusual ), and we discussed what cut would work best for my me and my hair before she cut. My hair looks GREAT! I am so happy! I 100% recommend Mai!

Chip C.Herndon, VA4610217Jun 3, 2022This is where haircuts go to die. I should have gotten up after the woman didn't under shortening the back corners of my beard, not taking any length off of the front, and blend it from shorter to longer
She actually had someone come over and show her what I was talking about. That woman even cut a bit of my beard, told her where where not to cut.

Jessica T.Sterling, VA1781723Feb 25, 2022I was optimistic booking an appointment for a trim and a few face framing layers. What was the point of requesting a more experienced hair stylist? I ended up with choppy unblended hair. More than I wanted cut off, years of experience does not equate to quality. She asked me if I wanted a blow out and I said no thank you as It was pouring rain out anyway. Did I think that could have made a difference to when it air dried for my hair to look like someone went at it with a sledgehammer blindfolded with office scissors?

Jazmine A.Reston, VA03Dec 7, 2022Trying new hair salons I can be a bit daunting but I like the challenge of experiencing new styles and meeting new people along the way unfortunately though I honestly wasn't able to have such a hospitable experience considering very few of the employees retained any conversation in English and it was difficult to get my point across as to what it is that I wanted done objectively speaking, which just made the entire process longer and more tedious.

I've sent all of my friends to her and everyone's been just as impressed as me. Last night she also did my daughter's hair and her friends are STILL giving her compliments.
