I'm so happy - H&H are now at The Stonestown farmer's market (Sunday). Sustainable fish, fresh as can be, and ethically caught. And really nice people who'll gladly give you recipes and ideas.
I can't wait for fresh sardines! -

Absolutely adore my weekly H&H css! We have been getting two kinds of fish every tuesday since they began the program in the summer. I have learned so much from the super informative and recipe laden handouts that come every week. I so deeply appreciate the freshness of this fish, We eat some of it raw others we try the recipes provided. My health has improved and I love knowing two meals a week are pretty much covered. Also, Being that oysters are some of the most mineral and B vitamin rich foods there is, I love getting the inexpensive, very high quality fresh oysters at the farmers markets! Thanks Heidi and Hans!

Ah, H&H... if you were to dream up the perfect local fresh fish hook-up, family owned and run by two of the friendliest, smartest, sexiest, most helpful and hardworking people... and their baby... they would be IT. Yes, that's right. In addition to being at the Montclaire Market during the same time, they're now at Temescal Farmer's Market (Oakland) Sundays 9:00a-1:00p, a fun market with a great family feel. Also, have you checked out the new Westside Santa Cruz market (you better go... it's one of the nicest new markets in Santa Cruz County), on Saturday? Its 9am-2:00p, with plenty of parking and a nice area to sit and enjoy a crab cocktail with live music.

I was in need of some REAL fresh fish... these guys made it happen! I hit them up at the Felton Farmers Market and my dinner turned out WONDERFUL. The Sashimi was great and the Halibut was perfect... thanks guys. Let me know when you get some Blue Fin Tuna!
