After a serious automobile accident and seeing several specialists to follow up with my back fractures and head injury(small) Dr Bajw was wonderful!
Thorough, honest, informative and even took the time to address some of my other personal health issues with my spouse:)
Grateful to have a wonderful Physician!
He personally called me to refer me to a colleague and specialty Orthopedic Physician.

2.5 stars but rounded up because he is decent enough, but I do not recommend him.
I went to Dr. Bajwa because he seemed to be recommenced on a couple different websites. Although he was nice and listened to what I had to say, there were some things about the visit which would make me not recommend him to others.
I recently came back to the DC area and needed a doctor. I asked around but no one really felt like their doctor was good enough to recommend. So i went online, searched doctors and went here. He takes most insurances and can usually see people the same day, which was my case.
I needed anti-biotics. He gave me a bag of samples instead of giving me a prescription, which is both good and bad. Good: I don't have to go to the pharmacy. Bad: I don't get the pharmacists recommendation of a cheaper, generic brand. He didn't talk to me about the drug at all. He didn't even tell me when I should take it, I had to ask. He didn't tell, me how the drug would react to something else I was taking. I had to look that up. Turns out that they don't work well together. He knew what I was on.
He is a decent doctor and for the occasion, was good enough for me. All I needed was drugs, and I knew what I needed. But if I ever get really sick, I don't think I will be visiting him again.
This is a Duke graduate who recently moved to N.VA from the Blacksburg area and has taken over a retiring doctor's internal medicine practice. He appears to have qualities I rate highly: He likes people and has a welcoming approach, plus, he seems genuine in his desire to take the time to discuss issues and answer questions. The office is open daily 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., so there was no problem getting an appointment or using your insurance.
