Gulfstream Hotel the
3 reviews for Gulfstream Hotel the
A beautiful hotel in the heart of old-world, pre-strip mall Florida.
I love it here--situated on the Intracostal Waterway, just seconds away from the ocean. Check it out.

I hope someone is getting a petition together to prevent this delightful hotel from becoming a condo. The Gulfstream is the Fawlty Towers of America; it's cozy, quirky and full of character, not to mention being a listed building; it is a defining part of Lake Worth (just ask the NWA flight crews - right, Chip? Right, Chuck?). The rooms are comfortable, the staff is caring and friendly, the food is good, and Ray makes the best Manhatten in the known universe. I've been back for more.
Let me recommend a perfect evening: 1) wait for the tourists to go home. 2) Find out when the Lake Worth Playhouse has a performance and buy two tickets. 3) Take a date (even if it's your wife/husband), stroll down Lake Worth Road and find someplace for a quick meal - nothing fancy. 4) enjoy the theater production - even if it isn't quite Broadway quality. 5) End your evening with a drink at the Gulfstream Hotel bar. This is civilized living!
