The Lake has an address? How weird is that? If I had to guess, it would have been that one road just off 330 that just sort of disappears into the water. (I used to know what it was called--it's been too long, Clinton.) I always found that road and the fact that there were drowned buildings down there deeply spooky.
The best place in Van Buren County to drive fast, throw trash out of your the truck window, get drunk or live out a desperate-yet-romantic Springsteen cliche. If that gets tiresome you can always go climb the bluffs or feed dogfood to carp or contract hepatitis A.
