Greenleaf Deli on Amsterdam and 85th is a typical convenience store and deli that stocks all the usual staples: beer, soda, twinkees, newspapers, canned goods, cereal, lottery etc... It also has a great little deli and grill where you can get breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, grilled chicken etc.... that are actually very good and very inexpensive. But what makes the Greenleaf Deli very special is the quality of the ownership. Once this winter when it was BRUTALLY cold I realized I didnt have my wallet on me. I stated I'm sorry and I'd run to the nearest ATM and be right back. The owner told me "dont worry about it. I trust you will come back tomorrow for it" and let me go. Now my order was only about $3.50, but that is a great sign of management and smart ownership as that faith bought him a customer for life.
