One of the best restaurants not only in Culver City, but Los Angeles for a laid back meal.  Food is always fresh and tasty and the staff is very friendly.  I tend to stick with the sandwiches (I have a weakness for pretzel bread), but people I have been with have had the breakfast/coffee/pizza/salads and always loved it.  I am about as far from veggie/vegan as you can get, but there are still tons of options for meat lovers.

Can't wait for the renovations to be complete so I can stop checking yelp daily to see when they will reopen.

I sent an email to confirm that it is simply remodeling and, YES, they ARE remodeling to expand the kitchen.  Here's what Jose said:

"Our kitchen is being expanded to accommodate an increase demand.
To do so we are required to close temporarily and undergo a renovation
of the entire restaurant. We are looking forward to having our dear

I Love Love Love the Green Peas vegan menu!  My favorite is the Gardein Chicken Curry Sandwich on Ciabatta.  My husband generally opts for the low-carb version of this same meal which is served on a bed of salad greens.  I also enjoy their soups which I believe are all vegan as well.  A group of us tried to stop by for lunch yesterday but they appear to be under renovation. YAY!  BTW, if you're not into the whole vegan/vegetarian thing, over half the menu is meat-eater friendly.

I'd give Green Peas 5 stars if it wasn't for the challenging/limited street parking and super-duper slow service....even during non-peak hours. I'm mean, what's the point of calling in a to-go order (waiting 20 minutes to pick-up) and then having to wait in the restaurant for another 10-15 minutes for a couple of sandwiches?  It's definitively not the kind of place to go if you're in a hurry.  That said, I still think the quality of the food outweighs these two minor annoyances.

Green Peas is my favorite place to eat, any time of day. I love how many vegan options they have, and I love the staff! I have been so lost since they have been closed! I can't wait to see how awesome it is going to be after the renovations.

Tip: Bring some change because they only have street parking and the meters do not take credit cards.

They have a huge selection: breakfast items, quesadillas, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and specialty coffee drinks.

All of their salads and sandwiches come with a side salad, roasted potatoes, or soup.

You also get a choice of bread with your sandwich - baguette, wheat, rye, sourdough, etc.

I had the vegan curry salad with the cous cous soup. I felt like eating a healthy lunch and this hit the spot :).

V had the steak sandwich with a pesto sauce and roasted red peppers.

    This place is AMAZING!!

They have just as many vegetarian and vegan options as meat options (which is super rare). Their food is extremely fresh and really delicious. All their coffee is fair trade too!

I ordered the turkey sandwich with tomato basil soup. Tomato basil soups can be overwhelmingly salty, but this one was not at all! I could really taste the tomatoes as if they were freshly squeezed. As for the sandwich, it amazes me at how much of a difference it is to use organic & fresh ingredients. The artichoke added the right amount of saltiness and the ciabatta bread was soft yet crunchy. All of this was only around $8!!

The next time I'm in Culver City I'm definitely stopping here again!

Let me tell you I tend to stray away from anything that says Vegan, nothing against Vegans because I respect you, it's just not my flava. My insignificant other and I were just a little nervous stepping into this place, but hey it ended up working out. The good thing about this place is that they ask you if you want it vegan or regular which makes it very easy for me.

Meal: Chicken Parmigiana sandwich = tasty and seemed healthy.

Heading back again when I am in the area.

The first meal I had there was the chicken curry on pretzel bread. Good god. The ginger carrot soup was pretty tasty, too.

I took my partner here to get takeout once and I ordered the same thing again. I don't remember what he ordered but he loved it. The roasted potatoes are a bit dry and lacking salt, though. I'll stick with their side salad or soup of the day. Their credit card machine was down so they manually took down my information and they double-charged me by mistake. I'm willing to overlook this since their food overshadows everything.

Third time, I believe I ordered the Green Peas salad with gardein chicken. Dressing overflow. Make sure to get it on the side.

Their white mocha was way too sweet for my taste. I stick with the house drip (they give you refills on that one, too).

Fourth time I came here, I ordered the chicken curry on pretzel bread again (what can I say, I'm a creature of habit). I wanted to try the vegan version, and the cashier asked if I wanted daiya cheese on it. I was confused, since the meat version didn't have cheese, but I agreed to it anyway. To my disappointment, he had gotten my order wrong and I was served a regular gardein chicken sandwich with daiya cheese on pretzel bread. BEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. That's all.

Oh, and I also come here to work. Free wi-fi, and they didn't kick me out even after 11 hours once. It does tend to get loud during the peak hours so bring headphones if you intend to work here.

Another plus: cucumber and orange water! + the nutella cupcakes are a nice treat.

Parking was a bit tough to find on Braddock. We ended up parking right in front of the Green peas in the 30 min parking.

Went there for lunch and it was crowded but so worth the wait.

I had the tuna salad with Zuchinni soup and that was awesome. The soup was awesome and so was the tuna. It was about $9 which i think is a bit pricey for lunch but oh well. The quality is great!

They have free wifi and a few couches. The service is pretty good.

I will def recommend this place!

"Green Peas" is a cute little café that provides food that accommodates vegans as well as non-vegans. They have an extensive menu of coffee, sandwiches, and pizzas. The prices here are very reasonable. They even offer complimentary filtered water infused with either lemon or cucumbers.

I opted for the vegan curried "chicken" sandwich on a baguette for only $8.95. The "chicken" is made with Gardein brand analog and it was dressed with the most delicious dressing ever. It also contained nuts and raisins and with a subtle taste of curry. It comes with a side order of salad, soup, or roasted potatoes. I got the salad which was a spring mix, tossed with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

I will try the vegan pizza next time which I have been told is made with Daiya brand "cheese".

They also have an extensive coffee menu. I will come back for sure to try out the rest of their menu.

I love green peas for their fresh sandwiches and salads. Don't be afraid if you love your meats, as do I. They have something for everyone, vegan or not. I always get the prosciutto sandwich with a side of salad. The prosciutto isn't too salty as is in a lot other places.

Free wifi, patio seating available and they are pet friendly! Even Russy gives it 4 woofs!

All their food is amazing and you really cannot go wrong here.

I have always been a sucker for amazing vegan and vegetarian food and this is probably one of my top restaurants in Los Angeles.

Even my friends and family who eat animals have enjoyed Green Peas (there are non-vegan options for meat-eaters, although I believe it is primarily chicken and turkey).

The sandwiches are to die for, especially on their sweet pretzel roll and with the chipotle sauce. The pizza is great (definitely get it with Daiya Cheese). The salads are delicious (I usually get the Teryaki Tofu Sticks).

Oh Green Peas, how do I love thee...!

    #1 - Free WiFi
#2 - Artsy decor with lounge area and bold paint color on the walls
#3 - Vegan friendly menu with vegan items clearly marked :D

...maybe saying "vegan friendly" is an understatement. I mean, they have 14, that's right I said FOURTEEN vegan sandwiches! Not to mention, vegan friendly pizzas too!

    What I've had:
    - Mushroom Sandwich with portobello, crimini, and button mushrooms, spinach, artichoke, tomatoes, red onion, and balsamic spread http://su.pr/2hd4oy
    - Gardein Chik'n Curry Sandwich with raisons, almonds, cinnamon curry powder and veganaise http://su.pr/1pjSnb
    - Green Peas Pizza with tomatoes, basil, avocado, pumpkin seeds, and daiya cheese. I also opted for the gluten-free crust http://su.pr/1DUJXo

So far, everything I've tasted has been all kinds of yumminess! But it doesn't stop there...they make fresh fruit smoothies!!! http://su.pr/5gcnzw

If you're a fan of H2O like I am, you'd love the fact that they have two self serve coolers of icy cold water in the dining area. One with floating slices of lemon and the other with slices of orange. Sometimes sliced cucumber. Yum!

I love non-vegan places that have extensive vegan menus. Great place to bring my friends. I can have my vegan food and my friends can have their "normal people" food ;D

Just a quick update.. they got a new website with the menu..

Only bad thing was that when we called for a breakfast delivery but they never mentioned that they start delieveries at 11.  So as the receptionist.. all the hungry office workers stopped by my desk asking for breakfast...you don't want to upset a hungry co-worker, it's not a pretty situation.  After calling to check on the status of our order only then was i informed of the delivery situation.. wow, thanks a lot! Now our food is probably sitting there getting cold.

I had to go and get the order which turned out to be not so cold but totally inconvenient.

I would probably take this restaurant off the list of orders but that damn pretzel bread has me hooked! you sure do have me wrapped around your finger green peas...damn you!

Where do you take your vegan coworker for his birthday breakfast? Not McDonald's obviously.

Seeing as I haven't found a great breakfast joint in LA yet besides UCLA and having never been to Green Peas, I had to give it a go.

Portobello Mushroom Omelette - $7.63 was delicious though it wasn't piping hot when it came out. Bonus was that it came with two small pieces of toast and either fruit or potatoes (I highly recommend the potatoes). Once I saw the Grande Almond Joy Latte - $3.79 I knew I had to have it and it tasted freaking delicious. Portions-wise, I personally eat a lot but none of my fellow eaters were able to finish their dishes (quesadillas and Italian omelettes).

Lots of cool artwork on the walls as well. If I had $400 to blow I'd definitely pick up one of them =).

The overall meal was a real winner and our group headed off down Sepulveda to work.

I love this place! BEST sandwiches anywhere! I've tried them all & there hasn't been one I didn't like. Sweet pretzel bread is probably the best bread too. Also, the breakfast here is great. Its all healthy foods so it can start your day off right. I also HIGHLY recommend the muffins they have there. I'm obsessed! Strawberry banana Nutella. Blueberry cranberry. You can build your own smoothies and choose from a variety of teas. I would recommend this place to everyone. The people who work here are genuine and provide great service :]

Juicy if you're on a diet

If you're looking for a healthy option with fresh flavors, this is the place to be. I really enjoy getting their salads. So far I've tried chicken salad and the steak salad. One time i got the pea soup and another I got tomato soup. Soups are a bit salty for me both times but I still licked the bowl clean. When you don't have much on your plate, you will eat it all .

The servings are pretty good, it will keep you full for a few hours. The salad is not drenched with overloaded dressings so I really liked it. The flavor was good and it tasted very fresh. I haven't had their sandwiches but I heard good things about it.

It's a great place to go for a quick lunch, it's clean and has free wifi. I enjoy their self serve unlimited orange or lemon water in the back. I would recommend this place for a healthy alternative.

Hmmm, ok so I have mixed feelings about Green Peas.

I have not completely given into the whole hippy green organic and tree hugging life of LA, and as a vegetarian I am often lumped into this category. My other gripe generally is the creation of fake meats. If I do not eat meat, why do I want a fake hot dog or fake turkey or anything that looks or tastes like a carcass?

ANYWAY!!! my coworker got this pretzel bread sandwich and salad the other week, so a couple of us vowed to go there. we saw their menu for breakfast and decided to try it out.

    we ordered:
-breakfast burrito with potatoes (2x) - both people said it was OK, but fairly bland. you have an option of potatoes or fruit, but fruit is your generic premix of cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon (which i find super disappointing.... we are in Cali, get me some cherries, watermelon, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, or something???)
-breakfast bagel sandwich and potatoes - it was a sesame bagel with provolone cheese, i opted for egg whites, and tomatoes. i wanted the fruit but just watermelon, but since it was premixed, i had to get potatoes. i personally felt like the herbiage on the potatoes was ridiculous and overwhelming. parsley, and oregano were infused or cooked on or injected into the potatoes like cheap perfume and resulted in me eating three.

the guys who work there also have very mediocre service. when we called the order ahead, the guy put us on hold several times because he did not know what was in what and where what was where and it was just frustrating to order. when we arrived from the three guys behind the counter all focused on one guy talking about his new potential job, my coworker and i stood there for about 15 minutes waiting to pick up our order. then their complete lack of customer service was an apparent lack of social skills. we were not greeted, my credit card was tossed on the counter in front of me, and food just shoved in my face without a simple THANK YOU or COME AGAIN. guess i need to dine in, because all the people inside on their laptops looked thoroughly content.... i might be back here, but only if driven and paid for, LOL!

One of the best values in SoCal: organic vegetarian food for mostly under $10.

Vegan and vegetarian choices in the forms of salads, sandwiches and hot dishes, including gluten-free pizzas.

The menu can be overwhelming, so take the time to ask questions.  The staff will direct you to the right recommendations, especially if you are new to vegetarianism.

After my date drove us around aimlessly for a bit (in a cute way) he spied this place and made a quick job of parking. He must have known how much I enjoy the vegan foods because this was the perfect spot for lunch.

I was immediately ecstatic when I noticed that not only do they sell Kombucha but they also sell Alternative Baking company vegan cookies. Yum!!

The menu is perfect. It has plenty of options for meat eaters but mostly specializes in Vegan/Vegetarian delights. I had a hard time deciding on what to eat because everything looked so scrumptious. After finally settling on the raw kale salad with a side of tomato soup and a Gingerade Kombucha we took our numbers and sat down. I was so excited that they had cucumber water. double yum!!

This place is casual but it has a good vibe and the clientele looked comfy in the couches enjoying their food and working on their laptops.

Our food was out in under ten minutes and the kale salad looked exquisite. I was so impressed. AND it tasted even better. The kale was balanced with some dried cranberries, and a lovely sprinkling of pecans. The lemon dressing it was tossed with was the perfect complement. Plus the soup was hearty and delicious. Full of perfect tomato/basil flavor. I was quite a happy lady.

I'm not ashamed to say that I eat meat these days but it does feel so nice to lighten up the menu with some perfect vegan foods. I will happily return to this gem and partake of their lovely and refreshing dishes.

Green Peas turned my world upside down.

I'm not particularly happy about it either, as it raises so many existential questions and philosophical quandaries and it undermines everything I thought I knew about myself. Why....why am I trading my prosciutto sandwich for my boyfriend's Gardein chicken vegan sandwich? How is it possible that his fake meat sandwich tastes better than my pig sandwich?

Admitting to my parents that I am Asian with no desire to build a career in the medical field was tenfold easier than admitting to myself that I am enjoying a vegan food item.

No, it's not a crime, and no, I don't think it's a horrible life style. I actually admire vegans and vegetarians alike for their tenacity, discipline and solid poops, but being a meat-no-potatoes kind of gal, the fact that I abandoned pig in favor of a patty created from various plant-based pastes would be cause for great concern. I want my meat. I want my meat, bloody and NOW. What is this? Green? Take it away!

Instead, the Green Peas sandwich, with its aioli glory, sun-dried tomato,  Gardein chicken, plenty of greens along with their crispy bread, has converted me into a born-again veggie eater who will not only eat their sandwiches and LOVE it, but also drag other naysayers and spread the good word!

Carnivores, do not fret. They have an extensive collection of meat-based sandwiches, but definitely give the vegan sandwiches a go.

    Notes:
    - they have complimentary water you can pour for yourself. Bonus points for having cucumbers/orange/lemon in the water dispenser.
    - you can choose your bread.
    - sandwiches come with soup or salad or potatoes. Try all three!!
    - drinks and chips along with dessert items and specialty beverages are also offered. Not absolutely necessary, but always nice to have options!

Okay, so I'm totally bratty about businesses - especially restaurants - that don't have websites with menus on them.  I'm vegan and I want to know if I can eat somewhere before I get there, but it was Sunday morning and I wanted hearty vegan food.

Kudos for being open at 8 or 9 am on a Sunday!  And the food was hearty as in filling and with large portions and didn't break the bank.  The customer service was great and the guy taking our order was really chatty and nice and reminded of which items were vegan - even though they are clearly marked.  He invited me to mix ingredients around in the burrito if I wanted and was happy to make a smoothie with every fruit on the list - without charging anything else.

Although I got the vegan burrito #2 to go, I can't wait to go in, with my laptop and hang out for some hours.  And this is right in my neighborhood!  It's  my new spot!

Did I mention that they deliver for free?! nearby under limited hours - but it's not like your average vegan-friendly or vegan restaurant does

This place is located near my chiropractor, so after I yelped it, I decided to try it out. The atmosphere took me completely by surprise--it has an almost coffee shop feel to it. There are lots of different choices of types of seating and plenty of outlets everywhere to enjoy the free wifi.

Since I found the place on Yelp, I decided to order something that had been recommended on Yelp as well. I ordered the Gardein Parmesan on a baguette with the house salad--it was delectable. Even the house salad, which I wasn't expecting much from, had a tasty house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing that was to die for!

To top things off, the service was excellent. The man whom I ordered my food from checked back in with me to see if I enjoyed the meal and when I came back later that week, he remembered me. SInce I enjoyed the balsamic dressing so much, I decided to order the mushroom salad with the dressing on it my second time around. I was unsure if I wanted to have soup as my side, but he offered me a sample to taste! I was delighted. The meal was equally as delicious my second go-around and I am officially a regular, seeing that I will be there again this week...

Bottom line, you MUST go. This place is great.

I wouldn't call it super healthy but the pretzel bread is super tasty.  It's surprisingly soft.  I had the Green Peas sandwich which basically had everything on it ("chicken", mushroom, sundried tomato, etc).  Pretty tasty.

Cool vibe too.  It feels like a neighborhood place.  One thing tho - I ordered a latte and it took a while for them to make.

With family members that are vegetarian and vegan it's hard to find a place we can all agree upon, and sadly we often end up at Chipotle. Luckily now that I have discovered Green Peas, I have a new suggestion.

What's so great about Green Peas is that it offers a diverse array of options for carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores. Both a meat eater and a vegan could come in and order the steak sandwich, and be satisfied. The meat version features beef steak and mozzarella, where as the vegan version uses "gardein" steak and daiya cheese.

I tried the real steak sandwich, sorry vegans, and it was fantastic. The meat was full of flavor and juicy, and the mozzarella cheese was melted to stringy perfection. Best of all was the pretzel bread, which lives up to the hype. It's chewy, doughy, and fresh. My sandwich came with a side of pea soup, which I found to have pretty neutral flavors, but the sandwich made up for what the soup was lacking.

The pretzel bread is as good as everyone else says it is, and the numerous options of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free are abundant.
Their homemade soups are excellent and their food is always flavorful.  I really like the chicken burger (which is a little spicy, but in a good way).  The pizzas are very tasty as well and the service is always very helpful and friendly.
The only negative is that the wait for food can be pretty long for such a casual place.  Sometimes it's tough to get in and out as quickly as you'd like.
If you have never been to Green Peas, go check it out.  You'll be satisfied; just don't go if you're in a big hurry.

This might only be a one-time-only restaurant for me.  The food wasn't bad, and it wasn't expensive, but that's not going to keep me coming back when there are so many other great lunch choices in Culver City.

I had the Curry Chicken Salad, which came with a bowl of vegan (I presume) carrot soup.  On top of a tiny bit of nicely dressed greens, was a scoop of curry chicken salad with sliced almonds and raisins.  I would have loved twice as much greens.  Even with two triangles of pita, the salad was really underwhelming.

The carrot soup was really tasty, and completely out shined the salad.

My friend had the standard Chicken Salad, which also seemed to be a really small portion size.

The menu seemed extensive.  Lots of coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads, breakfasts (only served until 10:30am), and healthy juices.

Sitting outside was nice (even though Sepulveda's pretty noisy), and inside the joint was definitely hopping.  I understand why people like Green Peas, but I don't get why the LOVE it.  With all the great lunch options in downtown Culver City, Green Peas could step it up.

So the bf and I recently got into vegetarian food even though we love love love MEAT. Steak, KBBQ, you name it, we love meat. Lucky for us, Green Peas offered both! We've tried Native Foods Cafe and Veggie Grill and wanted to try something new so I yelped places closeby and came across Green Peas. And let me tell you, it is YUMMY! You can't even tell it's fake meat!

The menu is HUMUNGO. They have a lot of choices. The bf ordered a real chicken burger with roasted potatoes and I got the green peas sandwich (vegan) with zucchini soup, both on pretzel bread of course (we just had to try because of all the raves!). It is so good, soft and not too greasy. The chicken burger was very refreshing because of all the veggies in it. Cucumbers always makes things taste refreshing! And the sauceeee, I don't know what it was but it was good (chipotle maybe?). The green peas sandwich had gardein chicken, daiya cheese, portebello mushroom, sun-dried tomatoes, and more! After eating half of our sandwiches, the bf wanted to switch because he said mine was better! Woohoo for fake meat! I don't know what it's made of but me likey.

They also have WIFI so I saw people on their laptops just hanging out! This will definitely be our go-to veggie spot.

I like the salami sandwich which I've ordered on several different kinds of bread along with broccoli soup.  I've also ordered the non-vegan pizza and I would pass on ordering that again, the vegan pizza was passable but not my favorite.

No matter what you order and no matter how busy the place is at the time you go in, be prepared to wait.  It takes a long time for your food to be prepared and brought to your table, so you have to factor that in when deciding whether you have enough time to eat there.

Service is friendly and free parking is available on surrounding streets.  The vibe is casual cool, the interior is converted from a bar but the black paint and mix of tables of booths fit.

Good and affordable vegetarian places are harder to find in LA than you'd think, it always seems that you can have either one or the other.

Green Peas is, thankfully, one of the rare cases of both.

Nestled on quaint corner in Culver right on Sepulveda, it has a very friendly and welcoming vibe. The interior is dark and cool, perfect to do some work during lunch or to enjoy a book.

The major draw for health conscious folk like myself, however, is their incredibly diverse menu of sandwiches and salads, all freshly made and inventive and almost all with vegan options. The price is pretty fair as well, I get a nice size salad AND choice of fresh made soup or potatoes for the same price of just a salad elsewhere.

My favorite dishes are the Green Peas Salad with lemon dressing and a nice mixture of cranberries and bleu cheese with vegan chicken. Then a fresh and tasty corn or split pea soup to compliment. I also hear their pizzas are fantastic, something for the next trip for sure.

It gets crowded during lunch, and understandably so, but if you're looking for a quality, affordable, healthy meal, you don't have to look much farther.

Admittedly, I was a little afraid to try this place.  I mean, the reviews had absolutely no in between.  Either you absolutely love it, or you hate it with every bit of venom you have reserved for Lucifer and other heinous beings.  Yikes!  No grey area?  I'm afraid of no grey area places!

Needless to say it wasn't so bad at all.  It wasn't amazing - but not terrible. It was simply...grey, for me. Whew. I had the Green Peas salad with tofu chicken.  It was good.  Not amazing, but good.  A bit too much salad dressing for me - but that helped me to only eat half of it.  With it came some pretty rockin' tomato basil soup du jour.  Not oily, tasty and very light.

Was it enough to make me run over there every free chance I get?  Not really.  But if I happen to be shopping for pet supplies at the pet store a few doors down and I'm hungry I'd definitely eat there again.  Oh, but I don't have any pets. Hmmm, well...there is a marijuana dispensary with cute boys walking in and out a few more doors down.  So...maybe?

OPTIONS OPTIONS OPTIONS, The menu is incredible!!!  And for great prices, too!!!

I came here for breakfast with my "breakfast crew" and just LOOOOVED everything they had to offer!  I got the portabello omelette and it was soooo good!  not too heavy, not too greasy, but still yummy in my tummy!  It made me feel like I was eating a hearty, healthy meal!  even the fruit that came on the side was fresh and light, unlike the usual drabby, soppy fruit cups other places serve... PERFECTION.  They also had a selection of fresh muffins... I couldnt help myself and got the banana nutella one and lets just say I devoured it before my meal even came out.

Their caffeine selections are pretty impressive too!  Almond joy, caramel lattes, white chocolate lattes.... YUMMMM!!!! I cant wait to try them all, but I had the mint lemonade, which was loaded with fresh mint leaves!  There are sooooo many things here I cannot wait to come back here to eat, and I love how its so affordable!

I looked at their dinner menu, they have sandwiches, wraps, pizzas... even have gluten free pizza options!  This is gonna go on my list of regular go-to places FOR SURE!

Healthy comfort breakfast and lunch.  They have the kind of menu that has 13 things that you feel like ordering, and then once you narrow it down, you have to choose between the super-delicious-sounding meat, vegetarian or vegan option.  A great dilemma to have.

ps Outlet plugs if you need to work on your laptop too!

This place has something for everyone! I order them a few times a month for working lunches. I have to say that there's nothing wrong with most of the food. If I had one complaint, it would be that their soups are pretty bland. I'd rather sip air.

They're one of the few places in the area that will deliver last minute that doesn't cost a fortune.

My favorite sandwich is the chipotle chicken. The aioli sauce has a little kick to it. Of all the salads, by far the biggest hit is the (real) steak salad. I've never had it, but it's always a hit at work.

Oh how I love Green Peas and oh so not the vegi! The food is great, the atmosphere laid back and the prices are fantastic for what you get. The staff is great too.

We live right near by and to have such a great place within walking distance is fabulous. Menu has so much to choose from and hubby always tries something new while I get a sandwich specially made for me. Yeah, they do that! I can eat here day after day and though I stick to my regular special just cuz it is so good, I have had bites of hubby's food and it is always fantastic. Best kinda kept secret of CC.

It does get busy sometimes so the wait can be a few minutes and parking is street only. Be mindful of the neighbors please as parking is an issue for them too.

Worth dropping in for sure and staying a bit. Free WiFi too.

I was over in Los Feliz last weekend at Mustard Seed that people hype about and it couldn't hold a candle to Green Peas. Yeah, not exactly the same. but similar. AND Tender Greens in Culver City sucks completely.  Will never eat there again.
