5 reviews for Green Leaf's Grille
I was surprised by how many types of beans they had and all vegetarian!! I had their 3-bean qusadilla and quite liked it.
I also got their potstickers though and that was terrible.
This place is also very expensive. I'd recommend some of the other places in Terminal C.
When you are stuck by the C16 gate, there are VERY limited options on what to eat, apparently all the good options are in other terminals.
This is a great place to get something healthy and for a reasonable AIRPORT price. The broccoli & cheese potato was 3.99 and great. Don't expect a huge potato like at a real restaurant, it's a normal size potato. They also have a great selection of salads, breakfast burritos & wraps.
Green Leaf Grille is a small breakfast/salad/sandwiches cafe type restaurant at Boston Logan Airport near Terminal C Gate 19.
$6.50 for a salad and you get to pick 4 toppings. It is pretty much like a cheaper & simpler version of Plutos. Food is overall mediocre but I thought their roasted bell pepper was pretty good. I also appreciate the fact that all their vegetables seem very fresh and clean. It's a good place to stop by if you just wanted to grab something to take on to the plane.
The server was kind of slow and didn't have a smile on her face the whole time. She seemed very cold but she wasn't rude or anything like that. Perhaps it's an east coast thing? Who cares, all I know is that I enjoyed eating the salad I bought from them on the plane and the person sat next to me was looking at my salad with an envy look.
In my opinion, this is one of the BEST places I have EVER eaten in an airport, EVER. And I spend a good amount of time in airports! The REAL highlight is the Make Your Own Salad bar, where I think I have made better/cheaper salads than anywhere in Boston. But here are some other highlights!
Most airport food is expensive -- BUT the sandwiches and salads here are a good deal, esp for the size. You can get a BIG salad with like 6 toppings for $10.
Most airport food is NOT healthy - Its all over-processed junk food. But the salads here are FRESH! YUM and the sandwiches are made daily (or so they say) AND they sell small containers of fresh apples or carrots to snack on.
Most airport food is not vegetarian friendly - Usually options that are not junk food are full of meat, or premade with meat. But at this place they sell various premade sandwiches without meat and since you make your own salad, you can obviously leave the meat out :)
Most airport stalls don't sell booze - This place sells beer and wine although "technically" you are supposed to consume it on their property! My friend and I bought some cheap schwil wine here before heading out on a long flight to Argentina and it made things just tolerable :)
Its also great because I am usually running late and fly out of gate 19 (right next to Green Leaf) , so I can literally get to the airport, grab my salad and walk right onto the plane!
Thank you Green Leaf! You ROCK MY WORLD!
*it only loses one star because the place is kinda small and lots of time people just stand around looking like they are in line when they are not, causing the line to go extremely slow!
When all you want is something fresh and you're stuck in the airport, this is the place to go. This is especially good advice if you chronically fly United.
It's Airport Quality and comes with Airport Prices, but it's fresh . . . even the flight crew eats here . . . . if that means anything.
