3 reviews for Great Plains Sauce & Dough Co
Good pizza, but not the greatest ever. This is not like New York or Chicago. This is what I call a mix of deep dish with a New York dough. It is hard to describe, but the people seem to like it's wheat base and the fact that it goes well with honey.
I like the pizza, but it still lacks in the topping department. The crust can be so thick (original and recommended crust) that it can overpower the toppings and become dry.
For a thinner pizza, I prefer Jeff's...but this place is good if you want to be full after one slice.
A great place to eat for truly unique pizza at a very reasonable price. The restaurant area is not very large so it can get a little crowded but it is definitely worth eating there so you can enjoy your crust with delicious honey!
Expect to bring home leftovers though as you'll probably be stuffed after only 2 slices.
Best Pizza ever. See my other review on the other Great Plains yelp page.
