Not only do you get the exceptional smell of fresh baked bread as you walk in, you get the taste with a free slice. While this remains one of the more expensive places to buy a loaf of bread, I can honestly say they make the best bread I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the Popeye bread. It's unbelievably tasty!

Get a free slice of bread while you choose (how can you say no??)... they serve different breads everyday and differ by month. They also have an assortment of scones, cookies, and muffins that differ from day to day. They also serve coffee and tea... and Don't forget to get a Loaf punch card!
Specialties
Great Harvest handcrafts bread daily using only pure and simple ingredients. We never use chemicals or additives. Whole wheat bread made Great Harvest-style retains vital nutrients. Moms, kids, athletes and health-conscious people of all ages love the flavor and nutrition benefits. Buy a loaf for home or try one of hot or cold sandwiches in store.
Great Harvest also proudly brews Peet's Coffee & Tea. Peet's style of coffee is a radical departure from what is normally available, emphasizing smaller batches, freshness, superior quality beans, and a darker roasting style that produces coffee with richness and fantastic flavor. Our sweets (like cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, cookies, and lemon and Savannah bars) are a perfect complement to a Peet's drink.
Our bakery is locally owned and operated. It's no surprise, then, that we are passionate about being genuine --- in our craft, in our customer service, and in our community commitment.
History
Established in 2008
Great Harvest Bread Co. has been baking phenomenal bread for over 30 years, and now it's time for Wenatchee to enjoy the Great Harvest experience. We are truly embracing the Great Harvest mission statement to "be loose and have fun; bake phenomenal bread; run fast to help customers; and give generously to others." Our Grand Opening on December 5, 2008 was record breaking, and we are proud to say that the Wenatchee area has continued to be great supporters of our whole grain goodness.
Your Wenatchee Great Harvest looks like no other Great Harvest out there. We operate under a "Freedom Franchise." The "Freedom" part means that we get to run our business in a way that meets our community's unique needs. The "Franchise" part gives us access to the recipes and processes that Great Harvest has continuously improved for over three decades. The result is breads and sweets that will knock your socks off!
Meet the Business Owner: Chris and Kyle S.
Your Great Harvest Bread Co. in Wenatchee is a dream come true -- our dream and we hope yours too. Our passion for great tasting, nutritious bread, and our desire to run a community-based business, led us to Great Harvest. We became true believers in freshly milled whole grain bread after our first taste and know you will be too.
When it came time for Kyle to retire from the US Air Force after 23 years of service, we knew Wenatchee would be not only a great place to live, but a great place for Great Harvest. Chris had always dreamed of owning a family-run business. So, we said good-bye to the military lifestyle and some offers from Corporate America, kicked off the suit and tie, and decided to be up to our elbows in dough. We're excited to bring this tradition to you, our neighbors and friends.
