2 reviews for Great China Buffet
$10 for dinner, heck, you can hardly beat that.
Food is average, relatively clean place, nice enough people.
That's quite a bit of praise, eh?
They have a decent variety. Like I said, $10, including the tip for the staff.
Anticipation is better than the afterglow, I must say. Next time, I will look for the other Chinese buffett in the mall and try that instead...
This was the first one of those "Super Buffets" (at least as far as Chinese food goes) ever in the area and located on that strip portion of the North Riverside Mall (by Dominicks and Gamestop). Being the first doesn't make it good or bad. It's okay if you're shopping around here and hungry, near here and hungry, etc. Nothing to go out of the way for. There is also now the Emperor's Buffet where Garfield's used to be inside the North Riverside Mall. Really they are similar with minor differences. I will say though, there used to be a really mean guy who ran it, but I haven't seen him in a while. But I only go for lunch, he may be there at night still.
