This is one of the places that I absolutely HAVE to go whenever I'm in Miami - and I'm from Boston, which is known for its Italian food. The food at this restaurant is amazing, especially the pasta (penne alla vodka is my fave). Have the fried mozzarella for an appetizer, and the chocolate lava cake for dessert - DELICIOUS! the ambiance is really nice (great place for a date!) and the owners are really friendly .
yelp isn't on fire in Miami Beach like it is in San Francisco, so I had to rely on opentable.com for dinner reservations on my first night there. Thankfully, Grazie really worked out for us.
The interiors are pretty traditional. Sort of a surprise, considering the surrounding buildings. Leather upholstery, dark wood, stained glass. Predictable but effective Italian decor.
For one, it's an older crowd. This is where the beautiful young things take their parents. Because of this, the wine list is as extensive and impressive as the cocktail list.
Food offers are plentiful, and you won't be disappointed with your dishes. I had some of the best Bruschetta ever!
Our waiter was extremely attentive, and the GM came over to make sure everything was a-OK.
I highly recommend this place, but make sure you make a reservation! It's SUPER packed in there.

Excellent restaurant. Great food. Insanely good service.. nice to be waited on hand and foot :P They even scraped the breadcrumbs off our table and refolded everything when I got up to use the restroom. I will note that like someone else mentioned, if you just want to be left alone this place is not for you. They kinda hover waiting to help you. But after all the bad service we got in south beach, this place was a breath of fresh air. And no automatic tip!
I was a little underwhelmed by Grazie. I'm a little of a gnocchi-fiend, and the gnocchi here was sub-par (too mushy, sauce was a little acidic), so I ended up polishing off my friend's linguine special. The noodles and seafood were good, but the sauce was very thin and a too salty.
I'd be willing to give Grazie another chance because the service was good and the menu had quite a few appealing dishes.
It also seems like kind of a mafia hangout, which is awesome.

Grazie is on of my favorite restaurants in South Beach. The service is fantastic, each table has several waiters who attend to various aspects of the meal presentation. But if you are looking to be left alone and prefer solitude, you might be aggravated by having so many people hovering about like that. I do love eating in a place where the manager is seen taking an active role in the operations and who comes by your table to ask if everything is to your liking. The food is always great at Grazie. The lobster bisque and the ravioli are two of my favorite dishes there. Their American style coffee is a bit disappointing though.
As a food critic.I have always rated this place with 2 big thumbs up.Amazing fresh, authentic italian cuisine..I love this place. It is my only favorite italian restraunts in Southern Florida.Great owners!!
If you like your pasta al dente, this is the best pasta I have eaten in South Florida. I had a fettuchini dish with a white sauce that was simliar to the pasta I've eaten in Europe. It's a smaller restaurant so reservations are mandatory. There is a parking garage on the street just south of the restaurant, one half block to the east toward the beach. I heard there were some celeb sightings in this restaurant, including Miami Heat players.
