My wife and I stayed in one of the corner penthouse suites here on our wedding night since, well, that's just the sort of thing you do.

The room was marvelous -- very modern and cool but not sterile.  The bed was quite possibly the most comfortable I've ever has the pleasure of using (bwow-chicka-wow-wow).  Awesome sheets, a mattress that was honest-to-god soft as a cloud, and more pillows than you'd ever conceivably need.  The bathroom resembled a set from Gattaca, including Hermes toiletries and some sort of full-body shower chamber.  I felt fully 25% cooler after using it.

The turkey club and Caesar salad we ordered around 2AM were both tasty and sorely needed, although the Caesar salad lacked dressing for some reason.  This may have been because I drunkenly closed the door in the poor porter's face before he could give it to me, and for that I apologize.  I'm pretty sure I flung him a $20 tip in a fit of generosity, though, so hopefully all's forgiven.  Breakfast the next morning was truly outstanding -- fantastic eggs benedict and corned beef hash with fresh squeezed juice.

If you're a visitor from out of town, this is certainly one of the city's nicer and more centrally located hotels.  If you can afford it, I'd highly recommend it.  For locals, I'd note that they seem to be running a lot of promotions for Friday and Saturday night stays -- I gather a lot of their business is from weekday business travelers.  If you're looking for a fun weekend downtown or a romantic evening out, I'd take a look.

This is a really nice hotel, it's clean. It is in the heart of downtown Minneapolis.

Now the city of Minneapolis is weird, what with their indoor "skywalks" connecting all of the buildings.

The hotel is awesome. It's up to date with it's flat screen TVs. It has artsy backlit photos next to the TV. I had a beautiful view of the city. The room is furnished modernly.

I had a great time getting sh*t-tanked in downtown Minneapolis. I came back to this hotel, and got followed back up to my room by a drunken big girl trying to avoid a drunken weird guy.

I am brown. I am "asian." I could just easily fall for a Mexican. I did NOT see a lot of brown during my stay in Minneapolis. I was NOT getting any play at any bars. I got followed back to my room by a big white girl trying to avoid a "so-called" creepy white dude.

The creepy white dude followed her following me to my room.

He rudely ordered bottles of wine to my room from room service. It was after hours and he was drunk. I had no idea what was going on as I was pretty wasted. It dawned on me later as I sobered up that there were two complete strangers that didn't even know each other in my room way past my sleepy time.

Weird.

The big girl left, after the angry no-wine ordered creep left.

Weird.

I now think Minneapolis is just plain weird.

But this hotel was cool.

A little bird told me this used to be a W, and I believe it.  Dark and sleek, with interesting, artistic, natural touches used throughout to keep it from being too cold or sterile, the hotel is elegantly simple.  I wasn't crazy about some of the design touches in my room - messy half wall paint jobs, and photos of odd backlit apple proffering women, odd fabric scraps that must have been intended as throws.  . .
But fantastic jacuzzi tubs (in some rooms), super snuggly desk chairs, big comfy beds, a soothing color scheme, interesting strip of hard word flooring amid the carpeting, sleek lined furniture and a large flat screen tv made up for it.
The staff was nice, the food was decent (I heard great things about Cosmos and I enjoyed Bradstreet as well, so it's not just the catering), and the meeting space was lovely.  Centrally located in the theatre district, there was tons to do within walking distance.  I would absolutely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure travelers.

Trés hip. Too hip for me...almost (bwah). Love the city views and the bathrooms. LOVE the 4th floor wall sculpture. And the wood veneer everywhere is simply breathtaking. The staff have been extremely friendly and helpful, too.

Very refreshing with a Very modern decor ... I Like the lighting fixtures, light hardwoods with the silver accents =) huge opened showers! Modernized glass bowel sink accented with Hermès soap, but last but nit least (saving the best for last) the bed of clouds you'll sleep on every night! Oh btw, staff: concierge very helpful & comforting! -ever gonna be downtown warehouse district, the Graves is a must!-not to mention your right across the target center (home of the timberwolves)

I'm a fan of this place in every way. It has an excellent staff, wonderful ammentities, Plush accomodations & looks the part.
Its the only hotel I will stay at when visiting the twin-cities.
Its central location makes it Ideal for short trips making a rental car unessessary. Everything you need is within walking or cab distance. It has a several nightlife choices within feet. The target center is directly across the street, live music venues. The rooms are large & modern.
All my requests were met. I've had nothing but great experiences here.

If Cylons ran a hotel chain,  this would be it. Sexy, sleek and efficient, but to the point of being just a little creepy.

Regular rooms have shower only, no tub. Fluffy towels, friendly staff.

Much hipper than I would have expected from Minneapolis. No offense, you're a nice city.

Also experienced some confusion and delay with the valets.

Do you know what you need after 10+ hours overnight on a Greyhound bus from Chicago to Minneapolis during Thanksgiving week? Two things: A nice place to lay your head, and several tall, stiff drinks, not necessarily in that order. Graves 601 offered superior versions of both beds and booze.

The cloud-soft beds in my modern, chic room were heaven on a couple of back-lit, blond wood platforms. (And the fact that the staff allowed me to check in at 7 in the morning, rather than forcing me to wait until my check in time, earned them at least two of the four stars above.) The rest of the room was very nice, from large, wall-mounted flat-screen TV to Hermes toiletries.

Cosmos, the restaurant and bar on the main floor of the hotel, won me over with the blackberry mojito: mojito basics, plus blackberry puree and a float of champagne, served in a champagne flute. Liquid happiness.

The hotel is right across the street from the Target Center, so if you're in town for a 24 hours for a show, as I was, it's a great bet.

I have stayed at the Graves on two occasions and have had a very mixed experience.  The first time I was at the Graves, I got bumped up to a corner room with an amazing view of downtown Minneapolis--splendid!  The room was clean and the bed sublime.  That said, there are a few weird things about the rooms at the Graves.  First of all, the rooms are partially illuminated with glowing panels which are recessed into the walls.  Cool concept.  Unfortunately, it is impossible to have these light panels on without also having the harsh overhead lighting switched on as well.  Dumb, dumb, dumb.  Also, and I find this hard to believe, there are no ice machines at the Graves.  I cannot explain why a hotel that is supposed to be as nice as the Graves wouldn't provide its customers which such a simple amenity but there you go.  Fortunately for me as I was wandering the halls looking for an ice machine one of the very friendly maids told me that there were no ice machines and she would go procure some for me.  Lucky break for me, but I feel bad for other poor souls who aren't so fortunate.

I'm giving the Graves two stars not because of any serious flaw but because of a billing snafu that really irked me (absent this error, I'd probably go four stars).  There's no need to go into all the details here, but long story short the Graves ended up billing me double the amount I was supposed to be charged for my stay.  Due to a faulty gift card, the hotel decided to bill my credit card for the room, I noticed this charge, called to correct it but the Graves didn't return the money to my credit card for five months.  Plus, I had to hound them repeatedly and make half a dozen phone calls to finally get my money refunded.  Unacceptable for a venue that prides itself on customer service.

5 star for the super comfy bed.

3 star for the hotel dim light/ dark ambiance design - reason being Mpls is not a sunshine city. It's already very dark and dim outside, I really don't want to walk into a building where the inside is super dark too.

3 star for hotel amenities - Shower is great, but where's the tub? If the hotel can afford putting two flat screens (in the room and also in the bathroom), why can't they put a coffee maker in the room? I had to order a "coffee maker" from room service which cost $12.95/ a day.
Extra brownie points for having a Starbucks in the building. Since I didn't want to pay for the $12.95/day coffee maker. It helps to have Starbucks. I was impressed with the Hermes soap though. That's when you know it's a high-end hotel.

5 star for the in-room breakfast. I ordered a continental breakfast for one day which came with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 5 bacon stripes coffee, orange juice, and toast for a whoppig low price of $35. Second day I ordered egg-white omelet with fresh fruit, grapefruit juice, green tea - all for $30. Both orders were really tasty and fresh, but I was disappointed that the grapefruit and orange juice was not fresh squeezed considering each order of breakfast cost about $30.

5 star for service - employees are extremely friendly.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in.
I travel once to twice a month -- the above means something.
Killed the "W" -- serious.

I stayed on my "should I move to Minneapolis?" trip
Wonderful place. Rooms are swank to the 10000's, bar is great, food is great, people were incredibly helpful and the doormen made you feel like the King of Prussia. Prussia does have a King, right?

Worst thing is The Graves is now in my town, so I won't have a need to stay there... 'less I want to treat myself, or a lady, or just hit it for a drink. We'll see.

Serious swank to the extreme.

Why doesn't San Jose have a super cool hotel like the Graves? I guess Valencia at Santana could be considered a contender, but quite frankly, in my opinion, the Graves really has it all over Valencia.

Love how their real lobby is on the 4th floor, it's fun to be confused when you walk in downstairs and the only things to be seen are funny little lanterns, a concierge desk, and funky woven leather square ottomans.

The rooms are posh and pretty, and the rest of the hotel is as beautiful as you'd expect. This place is sick.

I logged in last night to discover FREE INTERNET so a proud 5th star for Y-O-U

Still as swanky w/ uber-cool, mod rooms & fluffy pillows & covers, ginormous flat screens & the bestest rain-shower around......puts me in the hipster category, just by association!

Staff still opening doors for me, pushing my elevator buttons, treating me totally 5-star....STILL totally want to live here

As I was checking in, this "band" was ahead of me w/ all the peeps, tons of luggage, special requests, & overall chaos.  The manager makes the comment to the Front Desk guy that "This is our band.....we're famous"

Honey - I got news for you.  If you have to tell people you're famous, you probably aren't

Regardless, Graves will make you feel that way.....I sure have an extra little strut in my walk!

4.5 so far...I will be staying at this hotel whenever I am coming back to Minneapolis.  I didn't really expect to have this type of nice modern hotel in the midwest.  I actually think Graves is beating my W Hotel experience.  Also....I will probably decorate my future apartment like Graves...Totally cool...

5 for the decor (from lobby to my room)...modern...clean...huge flat screen tv...TV in bathroom...nice big bed...lounge chairs...flowers on desk...no complaints....(O...they also filled up the ice bucket right before you arrived...so you don't have to run and get ice yourself :) How nice!)...also nice clean shower

5 for welcoming services...bellboy was AWESOME...he got my luggage from the taxi before I walked out of the taxi...walked me all the way up the front desk (it's on the 4th floor)...waited for me the check-in...walked me to my room...told me about what's happening in Minneapolis...very well manner/good customer service...kudos!

4 for housekeeping so far...hmmm...I'm sure this is minor stuff...they didn't give me new little face towels today (they took the old ones)....it just bugged me a little bit...so I called to have them give me new ones....hasn't bring them to me yet....

Location is great...tons of restaurants around here...Starbucks is right there...plenty of cabs lined up outside the hotel.

This is a very pretty hotel, but for the price we paid, I was not that impressed.  As soon as we got into our room, we went to the window to take in the sweeping views of...  the roof of the Target center across the street.  At one point, there were workers out there - I seriously hope those windows are tinted on the outside.  The bedroom phone didn't work, and the bathroom sink leaked.  These were both fixed quickly, but it's always a bummer to call the front desk with problems as soon as you arrive.  There was also a piece of paneling falling off the wall, which popped back on, but gave the impression that the hotel was falling apart.  Discovered the next morning that the "rain" shower head was partially clogged and actually felt like big drops of rain.  Makes it hard to wash your hair.

On the plus side, they had very nice linens - the sheets were sooo smooth; and points for a whirlpool tub that the very tall bf fit in.
Excellent minibar too.

Swanky hotel! It's ultra modern and sleek. The linens are bright white and clean. Rooms look pristine when you walk in. There's free wi-fi, even though it's a little slow. Flat screen in the room, another flat screen in the bathroom. Too bad the fitness center doesn't have a pool.

Valet parking is $28/day. Sometimes it takes awhile for the valet to get your car, so I would give myself 10 minutes for the car to be pulled up.

I am giving the hotel 2 stars because of the service and having to use your dang key card to use the elevator which half the time did not work. The front desk staff never once smiled and scoffed at us when we asked a question as if it was there job to actually know something about the area and the hotel.

I've traveled all over the world, and the Graves is one of my favorite hotels to stay in!  LOVE THIS PLACE!!!  Here are my top reasons, but definitely check it out for yourself!!
(1) The most comfortable beds.  Ever.  Seriously.
(2) Amazing service.  And if you aren't happy with something, they fix it immediately.
(3)  Hermes soap in the bathroom - awesome.
(4)  Great food - try the grilled cheese or the pancakes!!
(5)  Great bar.
if it's in your budget, check out the suites - they are phenomenal.

I've stayed at all the other top-boutique and chain hotels in Minneapolis and without a doubt my first choice is the Graves!!

Very nice luxury hotel right in downtown Minneapolis that works both as a design showcase and as a well made, comfortable place to stay.

My pet peeve with boutique hotels is that while many of them are beautiful to look at they can be downright uncomfortable to stay in - poorly soundproofed walls (hello W),  cheap construction (that's you, Standard), tiny uncomfortable rooms (can you hear me Ian Schrager?) not to mention attitude from the staff (you again, W). It's enough to drive you to the nearest business hotel when you're on the road and just looking for a solid night's sleep.

Graves manages to balance truly great design with real comfort. I would stay here again in a hot second and recommend the same for anyone else visiting the area. Not to mention that the great room I stayed in cost just $200 - in any other city it would have been $600+

Oh and by the way, don't miss the bar on the fourth floor - they know how to make a great drink.

visits to Minneapolis mean visiting family, so hotels aren't in the cards.  but thanks to one of a couple of overnight delays, we decided to grab a room here instead of crashing on the couch one more night.  this place gets good reviews and is reportedly one of the nicest hotels in town.  it definitely seems popular with the pricier crowd - Patrick Ewing was behind me at the front desk, but this is across from the Target Center, so it may be a convenience factor rather than posh that brought him here.

But for all the glitz, it still feels like it pulled things off cheaply - or at least went with design that has a shorter life span than most.  Flat screens in the loo didn't inspire 'wow, cool!', but rather 'remember that dinner party episode from the Office??' - and the art work - um, why would you backlight a picture of some woman holding a pear??  odd.

Like Cosmos, its bar, this hotel tries a little too hard - and when that happens, there's usually a FAIL.  While this doesn't fail completely, it just isn't anything special, especially considering it's not in a particularly nice part of downtown

Props to Pumpkin K for stating it was Cylon-esque.  But to continue the analogy, it lacks a soul.

5 stars for a GREAT SUPER COMFORTABLE BED, cool room, and cool shower.  1 star for the pretentious attitude of the front desk people (been there a handful of times).  1 star for the ghetto neighborhood it's in.  Don't go for an evening stroll.  Trust me.  Room Service is good too.  The cleaning people were actually really nice, every time we've been there, but again, it's the front desk and probably management that think they're the shizzy.

Where do I start.....

How about at the check-in:
Walked up to the desk and there was some confusion about my reservation.  Turns out there were two Steve W's booked and they couldn't determine which was which.  I had to wait for 10 minutes until they allowed me to user their business center to access my email and finally get my confirmation number so they could figure out which one was me (never had to do this in any level of hotel, Holiday Inn to Ritz Carlton).  It turned out that even though I booked online, all online reservations are printed out and then MANUALLY entered again into their system.  When they did this, they had me coming the next day, which screwed things up.  She "graciously" stated that they would "be happy" to honor my reservation for tonight, which was nice of her considering THAT I NOW HAD THE PRINTED CONFIRMATION IN MY HAND.

So step one is completed...now on to step two.  Because they keyed in my reservations incorrectly (again, I feel compelled to remind everyone that this reservation was booked electronically online) the corner room that I had booked was not available and instead I would have to get a standard room.  But she was going to do me a favor by giving me a "discounted rate" for the standard room, or $30 off of my night.  Well, when I booked the room three weeks prior, the standard room was already $30 less, so I questioned where I was getting a discount.  I was then informed that rooms tonight were going for $400 because of the UFC event at the Target Center (my reason for staying at the Graves).  At that point I tried to clarify how I was getting a discount when the room would have been the exact same price if I had chosen that room 3 weeks ago when I made my reservation.  This went around and around until she offered to comp breakfast for me the next morning at the Cosmos (where I already had reservations) and I just got tired of trying to find the logic in her argument.

Now here's the really good part!  We finally get checked in, get up to our room, put our key card in the door, walk in.......and find a gentleman who had just checked into that room 30 minutes prior.  You can only image how surprised everyone involved was at this point!  As he stated, it would have been really awkward if we had shown up 10 minutes later when he was going to be changing clothes.  Luckily the gentleman in the room was gracious and understanding and we all went back down to the front desk together to get this figured out.  Beyond the basic inconvenience of all this, there is an incredible security risk in a situation like this.  Turns out this gentleman was head legal council for a major organization, so it'll be interesting to see what comes from this.

So we get things figured out back at the front desk and low and behold, the room that we were supposed to be in (a corner room) was available (shocking)!

With all of this said, their compensation for this was to hold the standard room rate, provide a free breakfast at the Cosmos and a promise of an upgraded room for a future stay (which at this point is questionable).  Their night manager was kind enough to call and apologize, but by this point I was just ready to get to dinner.

So that was the check in fiasco and the service nightmare beyond anything I've every experience in a hotel, let alone a hotel of this "caliber".

Now for the rest of the review:

The lobby, restaurant and bar all seem like they're trying too hard.  The modern design is refreshing, but when you really start to look at things they lack quality.  As my wife so aptly put it, "It looks like a lot of stuff from Ikea".  No knock against Ikea (I like a lot of the stuff there) but it's not the place you think of when you think high end.  There were areas where their faux-wood wallpaper in the lobby and in Cosmos was bubbling up and the chairs in the restaurant were just plain tacky and poorly built.

The room was okay but the lighting and fixtures suffered from the same fit and finish issues the lobby (unique but cheap when you really looked at them).  I like the transition from carpet to wood and back to carpet.  The flat panel TV is nice, but the TV in the bathroom is just a waste.  If they had a tub in the bathroom I could see some value, but without that it's just a novelty.  The bed was nice, the view was good and the overall design of the bathroom was unique and well appointed.

So why two stars instead of one?  Well, when we left my wife left all of her jewelry in one of the bedside tables.  In a panic we called and received incredible help by the staff there.  When we returned we didn't even have to get out of our car as they had the head valet prepped with the jewelry as well as a process to make sure that we were who we said we were.  I was impressed by this and incredibly appreciative.

I will most likely take the night manager's offer and try one more time, but until there is a service level that shocks and impresses me this stays a two star review.

I love this hotel and it has a special place in my heart. But I need to be honest in this review.
Upon my arrival the Valet were very confused. The loop at the entrance was clogged of many cars that the Valet's weren't parking. I came back later to get my car and to my amazement it was still there. When I asked for the keys, they were no where to be found. I went to my car and found them on my seat. From what I could observe the Valet staff was extremely understaffed and quite overwhelmed.
This was the only negative experience during my entire 2 day stay. Upon my entrance to the hotel the front desk was quite professional but still personable and pleasant. Check in was extremely fast and courteous, I was greeted by name, (Good job guys!)
The previous review say it well. The rooms were great. And we came back later to enjoy the lounge. Our serve was outstanding. (Becky) The second we sat down she was right there with their special Wasabi Peas and special nuts. She took our orders made great suggestions and was fast and professional. I love the sit down swanky lounge idea! and I love not sharing the "peanuts" with the entire bar!
I am a little disappointed free wireless was not offered (even though adrienne g. experienced free internet two months prior) but free internet was available in the business center and this hotel caters to people who don't care about dropping an extra 12.95 for wireless.
I also enjoyed the Cosmos for a quick lunch. Crab cake sandwiches were really great, hot and crammed full of flavor.
The fitness facility was ok. One of the machines was broken and the equipment seemed old, but the working machines seemed well taken care of and very clean. Great set of free weights wow! I also enjoyed the bar fridge stocked of Free Fiji Water to quench your thirst after a work out.

I'm a Minneapolis native, and it was a treat to stay at the Graves601 this past weekend.  Minimalist, sometimes morose decor complete with horizontally laden wood walls, marble floors, and constantly pumping music reminded me of a nicely modernized "W" hotel (in Chicago).

The first couple floors of the hotel, home to conference rooms and a bar, give the distinct feeling of modern bleakness, and you can't help to feel somewhat "cool" as a result.  The one meal we had, breakfast, was delightful, well-portioned with great tasty standard ingredients.  Drinks were also good - I had my standard dirty Grey Goose martini, up.

Our room was modern, and with the exception of a few details (like the rounded molding edging the wall-ceiling) and detail finishing in the bathroom, it was tasteful and refreshing.  I disliked the shower because of it's monster-like 7 heads, but maybe people like that.  Who knows.  All I can say is it's about time Americans started making beautiful modern hotels like the Europeans.

The one major downside of the Graves601 is that it is in the middle of the tacky downtown development action - right next to Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters (ugh), the cab service is extremely disappointing, and the entrance is unimpressive.  The hotel from the exterior is similarly boring and staid, a drastic departure from it's well-thought out interior.

I had a WONDERFUL experience staying at this hotel. In fact, it's what made the cold winter temperature of Minneapolis bareable! From the moment I got off the cab, I felt very well taken care of by the hotel staff. The customer service was impeccable. The decor of the lobby, the bar and the hotel room itself is sleek, modern, and gorgeous! I loved the huge plasma TV in the room...and the plasma tv in the bathroom! The shower is ultra fancy and has specific temperature settings.
I would definitely highyl recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Minneapolis!!

It's hilarious that in Minneapolis the nicest hotel's rooms are $200 which gets you what $1,000-$1,500/night would in NYC or $500-$800 in LA or Chi.

The only thing I dislike, I'll start with saying, is that you walk in, take an elevator to the 4th floor (where the lobby, Cosmos is) and then walk around the corner and take annother elevator to the rooms.

The decor is warm and modern..lots of birch, the lucite frosted glass and drift wood walls in the lobby/Cosmos.  The rooms are well appointed with Frette robes and Hermes soap.  TV is huge, plenty of space, a chaise and a chair with a FREAKING AMAZING soft and airy bed.  Other little cute things are the two pear photographs that light on on the wall or the fresh flower placed each day.

I've stayed at the Marqutte, Radison Plaza, Radison University and I'll only ever stay at the Graves when I'm in the Cites.

Despite my disappointment to see that I'm NOT the first one to write about this place, I'll continue my review. Sniff, sniff.

I wasn't really expecting much for my business trip to Minneapolis and when a colleague suggested I switch and stay at this place, I must say, I'm very happy that I did. Agree with Margot that it is reminiscent of W Hotel decor and sleekness, but in a random part of town. The first neon I saw when I got in was the Hard Rock and then Hooters. Sweeeet.

Seeing that the local weathermen kept repeating phrases like "arctic tundra" and "below freezing" and "wind chill" that was enough to keep this wimpy california weather loving girl indoors. Luckily, my room was very relaxing and nice.

I walk into nice lighting (bonus!) that is ambient and bright in all the right places. Sounds minor, but it's a really, really nice touch. For instance, no overhead glaring light, but a few well place bright halogen lights over the desk and by the bed.

Fresh flower in a bud vase is a nice touch. Oh yes, and the pillow menu! You can order the non-snorey kind, u-shape, and more.

The room is sparely decorated with nice modern touches, which happens to be the aesthetic I aspire to. Big fluffy comforter and pillows that I can't wait to dive in on. And yes, it's the type of bed you see and you have to jump on top of. Just cuz.

Massive flat panel tv in the main room and a little one for while you're on the toilet. That feels a little weird.

One random touch that I don't like - the weird backlit photos of a woman's torso holding a pear set into the wall. That's probably the only part of the decor I don't like.

Yummy smelling Hermes soaps.

The best hotel in Minneapolis and the staff has the 'tude to prove it.

My wife and I stayed here overnight to celebrate new years. They had a package deal for dinner, dancing, and hotel and the proceeds went to aids research. I don't think they offer this anymore, but it was certainly worth what we paid.

Upon entering the hotel you're immediately struck by the design and high quality of construction materials. The staff is professional looking in their matching black uniforms though I will say they didn't seem too friendly. They handed me my room key and swiped my credit card without more than two words.

Our room was amazing. The bed is to die for and the bathroom offered multiple shower heads. The LCD tv was great when we visited, though more chains have caught on with this amenity.

Our meal at Cosmos was one of the best I've had in the TC.

Overall I'd come back for a special occasion or if I really wanted to impress visiting family. The location on block E is great for Target center events..but admittedly it gets pretty hairy down there after dark.

i like checking in on the 4th floor...keeps me on my toes after a few drinks on the plane. watching tv while taking a long shower was an added bonus. the shampoo smells like an asian princess. the rooms are white-sterile-minimalist in a pleasant way. i've stayed there every time i've been to msp and haven't been disappointed. msp is an odd place in a good way and the graves is an good hotel in a odd way for sure.

Here's the deal this hotel is so different for Minneapolis that it's a little unreal.  I stayed here for a work trip and was able to get a good rate and was very impressed by this hotel and when I was staying in the room it really made me think that I was in NY or LA or something.  It's a little expensive for MN but if you can grab a good rate it's worth it.

went here for a business trip and its the best hotel experience I've ever had. staff is helpful and polite. everything you can ask for in a hotel: clean, comfortable, quiet, trendy, modern and very affordable. this type of service/room would cost at least $600 in LA or NY

order breakfast for room service...delicious!
