1895 E Roseville PkwyThere is something unbelievable about this spa. Maybe it's the fact that I know the owners...but other than that its STILL unbelievable!!
I've taken two people here so far: an ex and a girlfriend. Not at the same time, although that would have been HAWT, and gosh KNOWS that my ex damn near turned me into a raging lesbian.
See, what is so special about this particular spa is the amount of time I spent in it with the girlfriend. 6 HOURS. From noon to 6pm, I was being massaged, salt scrubbed (note to self: don't shave legs the day you get a salt scrub), manicured, pedicured, and my hair did. In between all of this, I was served a light spa lunch! *sigh*
The massages were always excellent--the massuse knew exactly which spots to put the perfect pressure, and listened if I said "could you push a little harder? Oh thats it, yeahhhhh...ooooh right over there? On my upper back? Could you concentrate on that part? Ohhh yeahhhhh...thats it...mmm...."
For the pedicure and manicures, they would put this paraffin wax on, and I swear to you--my feet were smoother than satin. I couldn't stop touching myself down there. My FEET, you PERVS.
The scrub was a little awkward, though. I mean, lying on a table, practically buttnekkid with someone rubbing salts all over your body...its a little hard to get comfortable. But since then I've walked around my house with nothing on but *maybe* a towel, so that wouldn't be a problem for me anymore. (BTW, NO, I'm NOT going to DYL naked. Enough happens WITH my clothes on!)
Their hair stylists are AWESOME! I'll be honest; I won't let anyone but Jessie touch my hair anymore. But if I didn't have Jessie, and I needed a haircut/hairdo/etc, I would totally come here. Their makeup, too. MAN! I got so much awesome makeup from here...it held me over until I could afford my own stuff at Sephora.
OH! And their spa water is the BEST water I have EVER tasted.
Also, do you have any idea how hard it is to get a guy who grew up in a population 12 town (11 if he was away at school) in the middle of the New Mexico desert to strip down and get a massage?
NOT. WORTH. IT.

I love this place! When I walk in I love the smell, the atmosphere, and the people! I always get my haircut and eyebrows waxed here and they do a very good job. I am always very relaxed when I go to this salon. They also have nice gift packages, it's a little bit pricey, but it's worth it!
