Grandstay Residential Suites
2 reviews for Grandstay Residential Suites
yummy breakfast with eggs, cereal, bread, bagels, juices, yogurt, and even make your own waffles!
we stayed in a 1 bedroom. it was very clean and had a great kitchenette. super nice staff. next door to convenience store.
they allow animals, but it's an extra $50.
Clean new hotel built in late 2006 and located conveniently close to highway 101 next to a gas station and 7-Eleven. Comfy suite-type rooms like Residence Inn with kitchen, main room with sofa sleeper and tv, work area, and bedroom w/2nd tv. Bedroom tv conveniently had a built in DVD player and VCR. Very nice for a 2.5 star economy hotel, esp since it was a pretty new hotel. Free continental breakfast with basics. Free wireless Internet from the rooms.
Only gripes: walls are somewhat thin so was awoken in the morning by a mom screaming at her unruly kids. Also the exercise room was very weak - basically a very small room with 3 exercise machines, tv, and a basket of towels.
Bottom line: Surprisingly nice and new suite-type economy hotel for a comfortable pit stop on your drive down/up between SF and LA.
