Grand China
1 review for Grand China
Not quite bad enough to be a one... Given, I have never had any other Chinese food in New Jersey, but definitely not the best Chinese places that I have ever been to, regardless of the location.
Walked in, and almost wanted to walk out. Tiny place, two tables that fit four people each. Chefs and workers talking amongst themselves very quickly for extended periods of time in Chinese, to the point that you wondered what they actually had left to talk about...
Ordered two combos- chow mein and general tso (safe bet, we thought). The chow mein was mushy and the chicken looked so questionable. The left overs are actually still sitting in my fridge, and will probably be thrown away tomorrow.
Why not one star? Because the pork fried rice was okay, the egg roll was decent, and the girl behind the counter was cute.
Maybe my dining companion and I just went on an off night... I wouldn't know seeing as there are no more reviews... But I wouldn't go back... Unless I moved to that block in Jersey and found out it was the best Chinese available?
