We came here for a friend's birthday, and having never been here, but loving karaoke, I was unsure about what to expect.
Our group ended up getting their own "table" for my friend's birthday, but it ended up being a bunch of little tables, making conversation and song choosing nearly impossible.
The service was slow (but mostly because they were so busy).
Karaoke was fun, but a little weird--their lyrics sometimes have video (and like awesomely bad 80's video) behind the lyrics, making it difficult to sing good/sing bad and keep a straight face.
We, being the business I run and myself, had a run in with the owner of this place. I have reconsidered my original 5-star rating purely based on his unprofessional and down right abusive treatment of us honestly trying to set up a fun party here. We were accused of not respecting the fact that "He knows how to run an *ucking party!". We were simply trying to gather information so we could tell our guests the right things.
Thanks Frank. You made our decision on where to take the party a simple one.
Don't bother with this place. I thought we'd found a gem and instead a turd.

Karaoke upstairs in a large, dingy bar.... Cha Cha/Salsa dancing downstairs that resembles an underground prohibition club...
....with enough ETOH in your system anything works...
only have really gone to Andrea's Cha Cha club downstairs. love live music thursdays! cubaneo plays after the lesson. believe there are lessons and dancing wed-sat night. very intimate, cute place. nice instructors. on non-band nights, the DJs pretty good. play a good mix of salsa, merengue, cha cha, bachata(?), some reggaeton.
Decent bar, karaoke every night with big selection and some really decent singers.
