Got Beauty is very nondescript and looks like it would be tacky. I judged it mostly on the fact that it is practically located in a grocery store's parking lot and has a very cheesy looking "G" in the word Got. Main point is, I judged and, as I learned later, unfairly.
What made me go in were the multiple occasions where someone had something adorable and said they got it at Got Beauty. Finally I caved and was so glad I did. This place is PACKED full of random accessories, notepads, wallets, shoes, makeup, hair stuff and a full service salon. It'll probably take a few laps around the place to see everything and regularly the girls who work there are on the towering latters fetching things that someone saw down below.
I've picked up an odd assortment of things since I decided to finally give them a chance. My makeup is from there, a purse, a have an adorable notepad and I recently got this teeny-tiny straighter. The last is impressive seeing as I have straight hair already.
If you go in you will more than likely go out with a shopping bag. It's alright. We can discuss our mutual addiction.
This place is like a combination of Francesca's Collections and a Sephora (but without the designer fragrances and beauty products - more like facial and hair). It's somewhat a big place and they have some cute jewelry and random keychains and bags - a little pricey, in my opinion. An okay place to stop by if you have some time to waste.
I like Marcy ended up at Got Beauty on my way to the airport on a trip to SLC in April 2007.
They had a ton of stuff, but I couldn't buy anything because I had only one carry-on.
I cannot wait to go back to SLC so I can go on al ittle shopping spree.
This shop is stuffed to the gorgeous gills by all manner of girly, beauty, and fashion find. From stockings, to slim and sexy wallets, to eye lash extensions, wigs, and innovative cosmetics (hey! tube mascara!) all that a pretty girl desires can be found here. I have made this my go-to for unique style items and saucy gifts as well as beauty products. True the staff can be a bit...enthusiastic but it's worth swatting sales girls away for a moment to gorge oneself on all the fabulous eye candy and sexy products. Since I have a devoted independent stylist I haven't experienced the salon services other than a pedicure which was fine (I recommend doing your own or going to a beauty college to save money on this "luxury" service). I go for the gorgeous, naughty, and sparkling items, makeup, and gifts.
