This place was so crowded! I mean, it is LAX, but still, damn! It's located in the food court, so you can have your CPK and drink a beer, which I must admit, was very satisfying after the day I had (and for airport food in general). The bartender was busy but got drinks out fast and courteously. Stop by for a beer, why the heck not?
On the plus side, the lady next to me (drinking chardonnay by herself) was trashed. It was pretty hilarious to listen while she tried to order another glass of wine, then dropped everything from her purse on the floor and tried to pick it up with her feet. Yes. It was 4 pm. Hooray for airport bars! -

Just glad they have one in the airport! Yay! but it's not the total GB experience. But at least we could chill out and have our favorite Marzen!
They have a small food menu, not like the bigger GB's.
Go ahead, stop in and have a Marzen for me! lol -

Waiting for 2 hours to get on a flight to Seattle sounds blah to me. Why not have a drink to pass the time??
Cheers for the beer.
Boo for the CPK menu. Why have a gordon biersch without the garlic fries??? -

I'm not going to knock this place for serving crappy CPK food. It's not their fault and I doubt they can help it.
I was sitting here watching the Laker game eating my terrible CPK pizza. The very friendly bartender came out from around the bar and asked me if I would like anything to drink. When I declined (I was sick and not feeling any alcohol) she said to let her know if I needed anything.
I appreciated being able to watch the game without ordering anything and the friendly manner of the bartender. Everyone looked like they were being well attended to and having as good a time as possible while at an airport.
Too bad my Lakers lost that day. -

If you're flying Southwest out of LAX this is a solid place to go. The Marzen is quite good and it's convenient to order CPK right from the bar. I love CPK's BBQ chicken salad so I was happy to grab that today.
I prefer Camachos in terminal one but since it was packed and I felt like CPK, I went with Gordon B. -

As far as airport bars go this is place is par for the course. Limited seating. $9 +tax beers. $1 upgrades.
But when you're stuck there on a layover with no end in sight you're glad there's someplace you can go and kill time and brain cells at the same time. -

This brewery is at the end of the terminals, so it's less crowded which is nice. Not too many tables or a huge bar, but it's clean and nice.
The bartender was nice and friendly. She made our drinks pretty well and fairly strong. Though we had a hard time ordering a triple shot margaherita - so we got a double with a shot on the side. I have fear of flying - so it helped!
Drinks were expensive, but it's the airport and I'm not a super cheap person. It came to about a hundred for 6 double margaheritas and 3 single shots. So about $10 a drink. But it got the job done and was fairly tasty. -

You want to wait for a plane? What can you do? You can drink a beer or two at a bar near your gate. Each beer was about $9. What can you do? One person tried to order hers "to go" in a paper cup with the openly expressed rationale that it can be done in Texas. God bless Texans.

We stopped in to try to grab some food and a beverage here as our connection out of LAX was delayed a couple hours. One of the only places in the terminal where you can find table service. They offer a menu of the food available at the California Pizza Kitchen. Sadly, when we were here they had stopped serving half their menu and they charged $3.28 for a Diet Coke. Bad form.
