So I am used to goodwills being pretty dumpy/run down. This is for sure the nicest one I have ever been to! You can still find lots of cheap pieces though :)
I was very impressed with the large amount of non-clothing stuff that they had. I was able to get quite a few things for my new apartment...my favorite was a super small cast iron pan that I now use for a spoon holder on my stove! -

This is a great Goodwill! It is really organized and pretty clean. Not to mention their cheap cheap prices. Every few months or so they will have 50% off on a Saturday, the place is ALWAYS packed on those days.
As for the donation part of it they made it super easy. You just drive up in the back there there are always nice gentleman waiting to unload your car. Also there is a really big parking lot in the back!Listed in: Great SoBo Spots

This is one of the biggest Goodwills I have been too!
The whole bottom level is just furniture.
The ground floor is misc goods, clothes, and books.
Too bad I couldn't find anything at this place! Maybe cause it is one of the busier goodwills but the quality stuff was lacking here.
The help was friendly (as usual) though. -

The deals here are with the clothing and the DVDs. The furniture is a little pricey. The volunteers are really helpful. Good treasures to be found here SAVVY.

I'll be honest, over the years and different places I've lived, I have never really been impressed by a Goodwill store. It was a place to go and get a maximum of two matching plates and random drinking glasses for a bachelor pad after moving across the country with only a compact sedan's worth of room for personal items. So I begrudgingly accompanied my friend yesterday and got a completely different experience. This place is huge and isn't full of used underwear. Lots of electronics, books, random household items, and a huge basement with furniture. Anytime I want a new project for the house I'm looking here first for a canvas. Currently stripping and re-staining some great wood chairs my friend picked up. Oh, and lots of friendly people, not just the staff, but the people shopping there; had several short conversations with other shoppers, just a good overall vibe at this place.

We have bought so many great pieces of furniture here. The best of any Goodwills I've been to. We always seem to end up here accidentally on half-off day.
Very well organized and well stocked here.
I even walked in after a meal at Deluxe with my fiance, and found just the shirt I needed for our wedding. I couldn't believe it. -

This Goodwill on Broadway has been on my bucket list for a while. I meter parked on Broadway because it was in the shade (97 degrees outside!) I believe there is parking in back.
I looked around for a while and even got a basket. Not too impressed with the furniture downstairs (timing is everything) or the lack of lighting (jeez; they need to plug in some of the lamps.)
Extensive selection of housewares; good selection of wall art too. Still; not too much in the cart; Finally found a pair of J Crew jeans and two colorful, Pier 1 pillows for my outside bench.
Friendly cashier; He said his best find was an authentic English croquet jacket in mint condition; also a first edition of his favorite old-timey author worth $2K. I love stories like that.
A local "in-the-know" told me the best time to shop at this location was right after they opened as the 'hood was still sleeping.Listed in: Do you really want to be…

A few years back, I worked with a Hungarian girl who only shopped at thrift stores, and she gave me a brilliant piece of advice. If you want to be successful shopping at thrift stores, go to neighborhoods were people dress well. And wealthy neighborhoods. It seems so simple, but it's true. From neighborhood to neighborhood, Goodwills have a different character.
This one is in the Baker District, which isn't packed with wealthy people, but rather hipsters. Annoying, yes... pretentious, yes... but they do have alright taste in clothes and donate good stuff. There are some really good finds to be had here. And if you are willing to shop out of season, you can get some real bargains. My sister walked out with an entire new wardrobe of business casual gear, all nice brands like J Crew and Banana Republic for a mere $80. I found a few cute essentials, and got them for less than an "ironic vintage" t-shirt from Buffalo Exchange.
You do need to work a little harder to find the good stuff, as there is also the usual thrift store mank. But that's part of the fun. All I know is you'd be silly to pay Buffalo Exchange prices when 1 mile away is this gem. -
Review from Shana H.
I love shopping at thrift stores but I try to stay out of this one for one main reason - disorganization.
The signs on the posts indicate one section but the section contains something different entirely. Then their racks are not in size order. Makes browsing a headache, especially, when you already hate shopping. -

Nobody laugh but I had no idea South Broadway existed - I heard you laughing...LOL.
One of many stops on a Sunday I stopped by this Goodwill. Everyone is totally right, this place is huge and awesome. Everything is pretty well organized, you may have to dig a little, but don't you always at thrift stores to find the gems. Great selection of jeans and tops. Good selection of mens clothing here which is not always the case with thrift stores. Great selection of book in the back, I browsed but did not buy this time.
I am totally bummed I missed the furniture downstairs, it just means I will be back soon to take another peak.
If you like thrift stores this is a total must go.Listed in: South Broadway Gems

Wait I am in goodwill? Really?? Let me double check ok right! Wow really cute stuff, dirt cheap!! Could it get any better I do not think so!!!
Did you know they have a basement full of furniture, wow really!
I love thrift stores but this one takes the cake!!
Cute barley worn shoes $2.99, really cute pencil skirt $1.99 All I can say is I cannot get enough here! -

This is quite literally the cleanest Goodwill that I've ever been into, and it's always impressive.
They cycle through more items here than a newborn does diapers. As a matter of fact, you'd probably find something here to help you out with that too!
Additionally awesome, I love to stop by and grab a few new articles of work clothing and let the truck linger where it's parked for a couple of extra hours (after hours of course) because there is NEVER any parking on Broadway for a full sized truck. -

Let's make this simple. They have great clothes. They have great shoes. They have great knickknacks. A valiant effort is put toward keeping the racks and shelves semi-organized by size and product. It's well-lit. You can find some crazy steals if you're willing to spend some time digging. The folks who work there get serious kudos for how much they bust ass and how prompt and polite they are at checkout.
Downside? Bathrooms. I had to wade into the women's room the last time I was there because my 3-year old HAD to go. Nothing like holding your daughter aloft and aiming her butt over the toilet while suppressing the urge to gag because you're wishing you had on rubber boots and a hazmat suit. That was just unsanitary; it made some of the dingiest bar bathrooms look good. Somebody fix their plumbing - they seem to have repeat issues with their toilets.
Ooh, also? The parking lot is an intimidating place for pedestrians. Drivers, remember - lots of people walking around. Slow it down a bit. -

This place is awesome. If you have not ventured in here yet you are missing out!
Throw all of your notions about Goodwill out the window...if you have any. This place is clean, open and a treasure hunt.
Sign up for the email lists and once a month pretty much everything goes on sale for 50% off. Sometimes jeans are $1.
Lots of good quality and little worn items. I bought a brand new Sax raincoat tags and all for $3!
Just try it, you won't be disappointed. But if you do go on 50% off day be patient, it gets really crowded.
Happy Hunting!! -

The staff was kind enough to allow me to return some things I had purchased 12 days before, during one of their 50% off days, when I got carried away. They gently told me that the official return time is 10 days (which is marked on the receipt, for those who remember to read the fine print). Afterwards, I took a spin through the store and found a cute top with its original store tag. In fact, I spotted several pieces of unworn clothing on the racks.

If you have to visit one thrift store in Denver, this is it. Like any thrifting paradise, one has to dig a little. You don't trip over diamonds on the sidewalk. I loathe reviewers too lazy to put in the effort to find gems. The Dude abides here.
Thrift store inventory is largely a function of the neighborhood, and this is the dumping grounds for West Wash Park, Baker, and to a lesser extent the Golden Triangle and Capitol Hill. Capiche?
Sure not every thrift store is optimal on every day, but I have replaced half of my fine wardrobe with designer wear over the last 2 years, and I can be very picky.
I'm happy when honest men make the New Year's closet clean-out decision that they're never going to be a size 32 waist again - in this lifetime. I love you, man. Some dude wore a $1000 Givenchy tuxedo twice - all I had to do was alter the waist and now I have something to wear in my next movie or in my casket.
Interesting Goodies: An audiophile friend of mine frequently finds top-notch speakers from dumb dumpers. Others find cool jewelry (one of the 20 things you should never buy new), or killer authentic-Frenchy copper cookware. If you can't upgrade at least some of your wardrobe here, then you either cannot see, or you plain suck.
Bad with caveat: The usual repetitious John Grisham and Sidney Sheldon crap, but depending on the day, you can nab a killer CD or two. Lower level mostly forgettable, but you can find *very* rare books on the right day. You've got to play to win.
Warning: My better half is the absolute meanest, badass thrifter west of the Mississippi. Also highly recommended is the Goodwill near the Tar-zhay in Glendale. Both are excellent. And you don't want to f*ck with my better half when it comes to evaluating thrift.
No matter which thrift store you patronize, remember that you're re-purposing goods, and not increasing the carbon footprint of a similar new product. Plus, these are charitable institutions that help make a positive difference in peoples' lives. -

I think all Goodwill stores are awesome, this is a particularly awesome Goodwill store.
I popped in on a Saturday and it was packed. I mean jam packed! There were all types in the store and there has got to be something for everyone in there. Unless you are just the sort of person who wouldn't dare set foot in a thrift store...in which case, what are you doing reading this review?? They have a pretty decent book section - I picked up 4 nice books for my 5 year old for 2 bucks (nice!) and I nearly got a set of barstools for 50 but it was raining and..... I didn't want to deal with hauling them in the rain. Others have mentioned this but they have a whole basement full of furniture. It's really the best furniture selection I've ever seen in a Goodwill store and really reasonably priced. They've got a good selection of clothing and plenty of housewares and shoes and bags - all in really good condition. And the people working there were super nice but I've always experienced that at Goodwill. I'll totally be back. And it's a great location too - some other great shops in the area and tasty places to catch a bite. Who knew Goodwill was so hip? :) -

My boyfriend and I are generally in search of anything but clothes at a thrift store... So I have no input on the clothing selection here.
Everything else was a bit meh. We went on a Saturday, and the place was wall to wall with frenzied humanity... Not fun to shop amidst.
The home goods, electronics, and furniture pickin's were very slim, and there were quite a few books but nothing to write home about.
Not really our bag, but if you're looking for clothes it might be yours. -

Remember when you could actually score cool, cheap shit at a Goodwill? No? Well, you young whippersnapper, back in MY day...
Yeah. Back in the day.
Before it became trendy and hipster-esque to shop for retro stuff at your local thrift store, Goodwill was actually a fun place to go! Rad dudes and dude-ettes such as myself could find funky vintage tees that were awesome without containing even in inkling of irony. Worn-in Levis could be bought for less than $5. The grooviest of mod 70s gear was even cheaper. Polyester abounded, and it was all available for the change you could find under the cushions of your couch (um... also bought at the Goodwill, for a cool $20-spot).
Real-life poor people shopped there too. Not just the "college-poor" like me. Real-life poor people COULD shop there! They could afford it!
And then it all changed.
Levis were the first to go. When word got out that you could trade a used pair of Levis for a Citroen car in Prague, the price of Levis skyrocketed faster than oil during an Iraqi Invasion. Gone were the cheap, broken-in 501s. Even if you could find a pair amidst the acid-wash, pleated-front nightmares, you wouldn't be paying less than $20 for them. Criminal.
And then came the hipsters... oh, the hipsters. When they caught on to what the rest of us had been doing for the last 15 years, they really screwed up the thrift store equilibrium. And not just for the "college-poor," this time... but the for the real-life poor as well. Why? Because when word got out that it was "kewl" to shop at Goodwill ("I posted it on my MySpace page, which I only have ironically, you know..."), Goodwill raised those prices up, up, up.
But, of course, only for the cool shit.
Or the ironic shit.
God forbid you might want to search out some sweet costumery for, say, a Trailer Trash BBQ you're throwing this weekend. You'd THINK you could find yourself some really awful crap at the Goodwill for a couple bucks' trouble, right?
You'd be wrong. You'd be especially wrong if you happened to hit up the brand-spankin' new Goodwill in the middle of the Baker District. If you want a good laugh, head into this Goodwill and check out some of the prices... and then remember that they got this all stuff FOR FREE because somebody else DIDN'T WANT IT.
It's almost irony unto itself. But not in a textbook way... more of in an Alanis Morrissette way.

I have had no luck here with clothes. Whatever is a girl to do?
The bric-brac, wowza, half the store is dedicated to it. Que the happy dance music - an entire eight piece set of Burgundy (Cinnabar, officially, for those who care) Fiesta Ware soup bowls for a buck and a half a bowl. Happy dance, happy dance!
When you can't make it to the library for your books, sorry Tara B., you can get your cheap on here by matching the color tag for the days discount.
I stop in very, very often but just can't seem to find anything great as far as clothes go. Bummer.
But that doesn't mean you won't! Help the Goodwill with your good will.Listed in: Non-foodie stuff

I've never shopped here, but during our biannual donation runs they are always help us unload our car with a smile and be sure to give us our receipt for tax purposes!
My friend (who makes probably 60K a year) shops here, and I told him that he should leave the great prices for people that really NEED the break, but hey, what can you do? With everyone's 401k crashing I'm sure the demographics are changing, and quickly.
The other thing that stands out to me is the quality of this store. It's clean, it's orderly, and it does NOT feel like a discount/donation/charity store (unlike some of the other ghetto Goodwill stores I have seen).
All in all, I would say that this is a wonderful spot that provides a fantastic service to the community... and don't forget to donate! Who can beat the fact that it's a tax deduction?!!?

Review from Robin P.

I remember the first time I came here. I thought that the Pearly Gates opened up because this was the best Goodwill that I had ever been to. And yes, I realize I threw in a Biblical reference. Get over it.
The gates opened when I saw the hardwood floors (pretty fancy, huh?). I read somewhere that this was an old art gallery.
This Goodwill is huge, with two floors. The top floor is clothing and house wares, while the basement is filled with old furniture.
Most of the (women's, men's, and children's) clothing is very good quality, and I actually want to buy these clothes. I don't just come here to find something for a costume party, but for everyday kinds of clothing. Usually the best sales are on Saturdays, as well.
You still have the high-rise and acid wash jeans (for both men and women), the reindeer sweaters, and the Hammer pants (Can't Touch This), but the other clothes make up for these fashion devastations. Sometimes you can find a designer label here. Even if it isn't my size, I'm tempted to buy it, but I usually put it back.
If you need some new business outfits (blouses, slacks, blazers, dress shirts, etc.) I would recommend coming here before heading out to the mall. Sure, someone else has worn the clothes before, but one good wash, and no one will know except you.
There's a big book and CD selection in the back of the store, but good luck finding something you want. It's not alphabetically organized. But I think it's about $1 a book if you find something you like.
I've left empty-handed the last few times I've been here, but I just keep coming back. I don't why. It just draws me in. I think since so many know about this wanna-be euphoria, more people are coming in. I might as well tell you that the best time to go is on Saturday morning, 8 A.M. for the best selection and pricing. Everyone and their mama will be here, but if you can navigate through the packed aisles, it might be worth it.Listed in: Broadway Shopping

Why I love this Goodwill and know what I'm talking about:
1) I'm not a hipster
2) It has a friggin coffee bar
3) I found stuff for both me AND my husband (who has very specific style)
4) I've been going to other Goodwill's in the area since I was 14. Compared to many others, this one is organized, good selection of shirts, and just enough really dumb knick knacks to have a good laugh if nothing else.
*Also, I'm not sure what Kym is talking about regarding prices. The most I spent was $3. The furniture is more than that of course, but about the same that you would pay at a yard sale. Still a good bargain. -

I walked in and was in thrift store heaven!! No smell, clothes were neatly organized on racks and not tossed all over, nice staff, tons of selection....yes yes yes!!
I walked out with bags full of goodies and saved so much money. I bought several pairs of Banana Republic pants and shirts, Gap and J Crew shirts, and a great winter jacket. I love the book store in the back. I left with 3 cd's and 4 paperbacks. I spent a bit under $70!! Sad to say, I didn't even make it downstairs, but I know I will be back!
Plan on spending time here, the selection is unbelievable!! -

I agree with Fiona B - this Goodwill will put all others to shame. It is massive, clean, well-organized, and rivals, say, Macy's in terms of selection and layout. I can't entirely wrap my mind around how awesome this Goodwill is!!
Women's clothes, men's clothes, children's clothes, accessories, shoes, books, toys, home decorations you don't need (or want), toys - you can really find anything you want here. If you can't find something, you probably aren't looking hard enough.
I can't say enough good things about this Goodwill. If and when you visit, you will see for yourself. And you can buy five times as much as some other second-hand stores. I'm still in awe....Listed in: Denver Rocks!!

Review from Sherri S.
The tidyness and organization of this place is stellar.
I was shocked at how everything was structured in this store.
The entire women's section looked more like a consignment boutique than a junk store (which is what my interpretation of goodwill had been before this experience).
The basement is flled with furniture items, which you have to have a certain taste for, but they are cheap, cheap, cheap.
Golf clubs out the wazoo!
I found a shirt for $2.99 and a belt for $2.99 - I don't know how much cheaper you could get, but 80's prom, here I come! -

For thrift stores, this really is as good as it gets! Wide aisles, nice selection, room to browse. It feels like a store where you'd buy new clothes. Sort of. If you've never visited, I'd highly recommend it! Last time I bought a pair of Ralph Lauren khaki shorts and a brand new (with tags) Liz Claiborne t-shirt. This store is very clean, the staff is friendly and the parking is ample. Why buy new when places like this exist?

Review from Stephen K.
Denver, CO
After seeing Richard Scott's mention of this place and what he picked up there around Christmas, I knew I was going to have to check out this great outlet. And it is a great outlet as Goodwill's go, make no mistake about it. There were only 2 points of contention I had:
1) the donators in the parking lot dropping off things at the donation area *who don't know how to pull in close to the dropoff area and let other traffic by* (and subsquently the people who try and drive by and then *stop* right next to the other vehicles..,KEEP MOVING, drivers!) and,
2) predictably, the only 70% accurate filing of clothes by size -- finding S mixed in with XXLs and 36 pant sizes mixed in with 42s, etc etc. But that's not the staff's fault necessarily; many people are (random pejorative term) at putting their clothing back in the right place -- if they actually bother to take it back out of the fitting rooms. (I ended up clearing out an entire dressing room of about 20 articles, re-hanging them on hangars and moving them back to the racks just to have an uncluttered place to change).
All that being said, I spent *3 hours* here...since it was my 1st trip, I wanted to explore and see everything they had. Came away with about 5 shirts, a nice Columbia fuzzy vest for about $4, a few kitchen utensils including a knife sharpening rod, and a great business tote that I could stick a laptop or papers in and had about 6 pockets on the inside. Total damage? Just over $20. Pretty amazing deal.
The downstairs area has assorted furniture, sporting goods, and toys in various states of repair -- and luggage. Pretty decent luggage. If I ever find myself suddenly free to travel more often, I'm coming here for luggage for sure.
Parking is also potentially available along Broadway as well. -

I have never been in a nicer goodwill and I have been to PLENTY of them. The lighting is soft and warm, the walls are brick, the floors are hardwood, and there is a cozy nook for reading in the book section. There is tons of stuff in here. tons of stuff. This goodwill puts others to shame. I see a new addiction in my future.

This is by far the nicest goodwill I've ever been in.

Ah...recession. Ah...Goodwill. It's like peanut butter and jelly, just perfect together! Okay, I kid, I kid...
I am fairly tall and have never ever been able to find anything that fits me in a Goodwill. I guess peeps my size like to hold onto what they got. My poor luck at finding additions for my wardrobe in a Goodwill aside, they are always fun places to spend a lazy afternoon perusing the passed-on's and hand-me-down's of others.
The Goodwill on South Broadway used to be a furniture store selling some really tacky and wtf?!? type furniture. Surprisingly none of the former merchandise wound up at this particular Goodwill... This former furniture dumper is now the nicest looking Goodwill I have ever seen outside of Malibu. The smashing location and bang-up interior might be good cause as to why there is absolutely so little of anything actually worth buying, however the look of the interior alone is worth a stop inside.
Goodwill shopping is never a quick experience and given the size of this place, 2 floors, be prepared to spend some time inside this golden temple of Goodwill's. My favorite part is the little book nook or alcove situated in the back part of the store (south-west corner). I found several quality finds, the most expensive being $1.99, a couple of which served as terrific spontaneous gifts for friends. (can't go wrong giving a book)
On a side note, this Goodwill also seems to attract some of the most attractive Goodwill shoppers I have ever seen. I don't know if it is the economy or the hipster location, but there were some smashing Goodwill shoppers who looked more Goodwill hobbyist than Goodwill target clientele. Crimson silk shirt and black skirt, you know who you are.
Alright, before I digress let me re-cap. Goodwill. 1 star for best Goodwill interior ever. 1 star for wonderful and inviting book nook in the back. 1 star for organization and cleanliness. minus 1 star for lack of inventory. minus 1 star because I am stingy like that. -

Lots of parking and lots of inflated prices.
This Goodwill is clean, spacious, open, and it almost lures you into thinking you aren't in a thrift store. Then you come across an oddly framed, not-quite-finished, embroidered dolphin picture and you remember you're at the Goodwill.
If for some reason you did forget then the prices would seem quite normal and sometimes exciting. Maybe, just maybe you'll get lucky and find a deal based on their tag color series of deals. But when I come across a bookshelf priced the same or more than a new bookshelf, what's the point?
Oh! Speaking of furniture, make sure you check out any furniture you buy here top to bottom. I bought two chairs that seemed a little overpriced but there was a purple tag sale and I was so excited I ran off with them as fast as I could. Yeah, they were very broken and had been poorly "fixed" into remaining chairs for about a month more; then suddenly one morning they became piles of rubble.
I know shopping here is for a good cause, but thrift store shopping is for another good cause known as my wallet's diet. Right now my wallet needs all the greens it can get, so I won't be shopping at this Goodwill. -

GREAT store! Definitely on the pricier side when compared to other Goodwills (dresses used to be about $4.99, but now they've jerked them up to $7.49 : / ), but the place is super clean and the staff has always been nice to me. They have a big parking lot out back too, which is helpful to have in the Baker's District.
In the many times I've visited this location, I've found vintage Valentino pants, several nearly-new Free People, Anthropologie, and J.Crew pieces, a fab vintage Versace skirt, and a cute Juicy Couture dress. This is where all those Cherry Creekers dump their barely-worn stuff, so be prepared to stumble upon lots of great finds, a good number with tags still attached! -
Review from cherie c.
I am now a regular at this Goodwill. We completed our set of bar glasses here when we found champagne glasses and brandy snifters. We've also found some interesting glasses in other shapes as well. I've found super-cheap clothing and some vintage Pyrex items in great condition.
The prices are pretty good, though some items aren't the bargain-bin-blowout prices you might find in other thrift stores or at garage sales. But I don't mind that. It's still cheaper than buying new, and some items simply can't be found new. Plus you are supporting community services. AND you get to shop in a clean, well-lit, well-organized store. Don't forget to check to see which tag color is 50% off that day for extra bargains, too.
Another bright spot: this locations takes everything. While some thrift stores won't accept Christmas decorations, computer items, and more, this place does. Got a broken necklace? They'll take the beads, combine them in a bag or jar with other beads, and sell them to crafters. Same with little bits of yarn left from projects or other such things. They will recycle or salvage what can't be resold. (But this doesn't mean you can bring them your broken glasses or other trash. Let's be realistic, people.)
If you can make it on a weekday, it's much more manageable and there are more items being put out all the time.1 Previous Review: Show all »

This is probably the best Goodwill on earth! It is ginormous, clean, well organized and they have an awesome selection of everything! Their used book section is massive and books are at most $1.99. They have a lot of decorative items and some nice stuff, not just retro 1980's cast outs. They had a ton of fabric remnants which I was happy to look through and everything was super inexpensive - I couldn't buy fabric at the fabric store for that cheap!
There is also a nice clothing selection, I saw some nicer brands in there and everything was in good shape. Sometimes, you grab a shirt at a thrift store and it smells like B.O. and has stains of god only knows what all over it - not here though! Everything looks to be in pretty decent shape.
Overall, an awesome Goodwill - one of the best if not THE best around. Great selection on all your thrift store needs.Listed in: But I Don't Wanna Pay Full…

You know, I've always been a big fan of Goodwill because every single time I shop there, I find at least one thing to buy. This trip was no exception. I found a really cool shirt that I decided to buy. After looking around the entire store I decided it was time to head out. While waiting in line, an associate called out to me that she could help me at another register. My friend and I approached only to have her engage in a conversation with another associate. Not once did she acknowledge me any further and they were going back and forth over who was on the computer last. Really? You called me over to wait and listen to you two argue? Anyway, for one shirt it took me five minutes to check out because they spent so much time talking. Some of that time was just her scuffing because she appeared to be mad at the world or something. I realize this is Goodwill and not Bloomingdale's but I'm still giving them my business and my hard-earned money.
I still like Goodwill and I'll continue to shop there but some human interaction in this city is still nice from time to time. -

If you got Thrift Store style, this ain't the place to live it out.
Indeed, a nice store. Clean including the bathrooms.
They do have a smart book room at least it is appealing
Excellent parking too.
However, once inside the store- limited selection incluing "junk" available. The basement level demonstrates a poor selection of furniture- reminding me of being in a used tool store or similar.
When out for a Saturday Slum, this one gets passed by. -

The best Goodwill store I've been to, hands-down. It's kind of hit or miss sometimes when it comes to finding what you're looking for, but if you have patience and an open mind you will almost always find the perfect item for you... especially if you're not looking for anything specific. I have found everything from an amazing sixties coat to nearly new Tonka Truck bedsheets (yes, for myself) to a Risky Business Halloween costume to kick-ass wall art to an incredible $20 record player in near-perfect condition. It's Goodwill, so the prices are usually ridiculously cheap. The lines get a little crazy sometimes and the downstairs area (furniture, etc.) isn't anything special, but that's about it. The store is well-lit, well-organized, and the staff are generally nice. I can't walk/drive by this place without stopping.
