9 reviews for Good Nite Inn
We had to stay someplace for a couple of days as our place was being updated. We wanted a clean safe place to stay and did not want to waste a lot of money as it was not a vacation or anything special just a place to sleep.
I called all around Petaluma, Rohnert Park and Novato and checked websites (even though I am familiar with the area and know some of the ones to avoid I don't know all of them) so after all my research I landed at Good Nite Inn. We found it to be clean and quite which we were both a little worried about being next to the highway.
Considering the next cheapest hotel rate in the area was around $109.00 the $59.00 I paid here was an incredible value.
The staff was nice and the price was really good. It is located near a Taco Bell, Burger King, Wall Mart, In-N-Out, a Gas Station and tons of other places and is easy to find. I would recommend it as a place to stay for a nite or two if you were in the area and did not want to pay a lot for a room. There are nicer places in the area for sure but dollar for dollar you get a good value here.
The second dirtiest hotel I have ever been to! Horrible nightstaff managment. The carpet and linens are disgusting. With that said, if ur broke and need a place u can get a room for $44.
From the freeway, it looks respectable enough, even better than Motel 6....very deceptive!
Everything else was booked up and this was the only possibility in the area...
The elevator was covered in graffiti. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The bathroom door wouldn't even shut properly. We had to pull up and pull hard to get it closed. We got 3 bath towels in a 4 person room. No blow dryer. No iron. No ironing board. Do I even have to mention that there was no continental breakfast? The air conditioner never eliminated the obvious humidity in the room. The pool was freezing cold. At least one of our neighbors was smoking funny things.
Luckily, we were able to sleep through all the TV noise, screaming children running through the courtyard at 1 am and freeway sounds due to extreme exhaustion!
I recommend that you keep looking or sleep in the car.
Oh, c'mon...what were you expecting?
It's a cheap hotel off the highway.
Is it nice? No.
Is it clean? Yes.
Is it safe? Yep, or so it seemed.
When prices for a hotel around wine country are hovering at $250 or more a night for a mediocre spot, this place is a great budget alternative that will save you some cash for a bottle of the good stuff.

This is one of those reviews earning a 'negative' mark, but since that does not exist, one star will hopefully burn very quietly.
... So one night Larry and I were cruisin' home after a dirty night out, and were almost run off the road by a drunk driver. Said drunk driver pulled into the Good Nite Inn parking lot, shut off his motor and sat in his car. We went into the lobby and told the clerk what had happened and asked her to call the police; to which she said, after looking out into the parking lot at our suspect, "he's the manager", with that 'what do you want me to do?' look on her face.
Niiiiiiiice.

I have been to so many great places that I have wanted to leave reviews for, but have never gotten around to it. I would like to thank the Good Nite Inn in Rohnert Park for finally getting me to leave a review! First off beware of your credit card statement for false charges! I was billed $45 for a stay that never even happened; I wasn't even in the state at the time. When I did stay there all the other guests looked like the extras from Escape from New York (The good one, not like the LA one). There was some wild sound's going on all night I don't even care to know what they were. As soon as I could I gathered my stuff and ran out the door. After two weeks of calls and multiple emails to the hotel management about the fraudulent charges on my credit card, I finally got a hold of Linda the assistant manager and she told me that they have no way to refund my money?!? What happened to customer service? Well it is still out there but not here. I am still fighting Good Nite's corporate offices for my refund, it seems like a losing battle for only $45, but it is the principle. There are many hotels in the area, spend an extra 3 bucks and please stay somewhere else!
This place is the true meaning of No-Tell-Motel.
So when I got to the Good Nite Inn thought we got a deal on the room for the night at $55. Decent location, food stuff within walking distance, pool doesn't look half bad, YEAH! But looks can be decieving you get what you pay for.
The room that we stayed in even though there was a No Smoking Sign On the Door, smelled like people been smoking both the legal and illegal stuff in there. The bathroom, well have you ever seen old gum and it hardens, well that was on the counters. Looks like someone stuck gum on the counters and they tried to scrape it off only to embedd it in the counter. Plus since the hotel is right next to the freeway, yeap freeway noise all night long. And the shampoo and soap... yeash, seen better stuff at the Dollar Store.
So the 3 things that saves this place from getting 1 star, the Free Wireless Internet, The Grounds are well kept, and let's face it, to stay here is only $55. Otherwise, despite the exterior, complete dump. You're better off spending an extra $10-20 bucks and stay someplace nicer.
First time at Good nite(the name is a warning to you all " good nite if you can get a good nite") they lost my reservations. the chick Jannelle or Chantal helped to correct the mistake except for the other one ( do not remember her name the one who is Asian sorry that's the only way I can describe) was rude very rude and had attitude telling me I would have to wait 5 hours to get the room that was reserved to me because someone apparently paid double to get the last room (which belonged to me ) I was like "WTF" and then amused to see Jannelle or Chantalle arguing with her and finally got my room. Never come here smells there "complimentary breakfast" is not worth it go to burger king instead its just across walking distance like 10 steps in front of you instead. I rejected the room and upgraded to Hampton inn which is the next hotel and the room was better.
This place has the worst customer service ever. Chantelle was very rude, yelled, was not helpful, and gave bad attitude. I do not ever plan to come back to this Good Nite Inn in Rohnert Park . I will remember to tell my friends never to spend their money here. Never go here and don't spend your money here, because they treat their customers like crap.
