6 reviews for Good Nite Inn
I am surprised to see this place having such a low rating but I guess in comparison to major high class hotels and resorts, this place is but a mere small fish in a big hotel franchised pond.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I thought the bathroom was very clean, my bed was comfortable, there was internet access, a television, all of the usual toiletries and even a swimming pool.
I was able to truly relax by the pool and play in the water for a bit.
They serve free orange juice and coffee in the morning and parking is free.
The price is about $39.99 per night and all conveniently located near a suburb in Redwood City.

Good Nite Inn is a great value for $40 / night. The room was clean and everything was in working order. Typically a roadside stop costs at least double and can be much worse. If this place cost over $75 I would give it two stars, and one star if over $100. There were no problems the week night I visited.
As a bonus I got to eat at IHOP for the first time in decades!
Paying for wireless internet access is ridiculous. It costs $4.95 per day here, but I don't know the area well enough to find a different access point after 10pm.
The room was supposed to have a fridge and microwave (I actually called to confirm this) but had neither.
The queen bed had two very-flat pillows for myself and my girlfriend (I could have used three myself).
Check-in involves a very annoying contract with lots of initials and signing and giving over details of your vehicle.
Go somewhere else.
Melissa isn't lying. This place is packed with parties, and really unsavory characters. This was a weekend that I stayed.. I didnt' actually stay.. I saw the crazy shit going on and said screw this we're going to a different hotel.. didn't ask for a refund, haden't been there but 10 minutes and we were out the door.. peace.. I feared for my life.
Really weird people roaming the hallways, tons of people in the parking lot, a room on the first floor near ours was over flowing with party guests. Gang members apearing to rally up for some sort of show down with another gang..
Absolutely the craziest shit I have ever seen at a hotel. I would say avoid it at all costs, I've picked up some budget hotels from Expedia before in the past and they've never done me wrong. I've also stayed at some really interesting hotels in the past near shady areas but in all honesty this took the cake.
Literally, there 10 minutes, didn't ask for refund.. walked at a brisk pace out the door asap.

Ever seen 4/5 punkish looking kids leaving the hotel you're staying at and one is putting a baseball bat down his pants(maybe on their way to a gang fight???)..... um yeah this would be the place for that!

Spacious, clean, affordable and comfortable rooms near downtown Redwood City.
I was in town to help stage the annual Tour de Peninsula bicycling event. If you're looking for comfortable, no-frills accommodations at super affordable prices this two-story hotel might be your place. For under sixty bucks a night that my employer picked up I found myself in a gigantic room, well-kept and clean with free wifi and cable TV. There was a very nice swimming pool in the courtyard and everything on the hotel grounds appeared to be quite well kept.
The only minus was the check-in process. A lone counter person found himself answering a barrage of telephone calls. In addition there were five or six other parties waiting patiently trying to check in on a bustling Saturday evening. If most weekend nights are like this, be prepared to wait about twenty minutes to get checked in. Check out was a breeze as most of our staff was out of the hotel by 4 AM the next morning.
Eating options? If you're into adventurous dining experiences there is an IHOP conveniently located next to the hotel. There are lots of better dining experiences nearby or just minutes from the hotel.
