Good Fortune Chinese
2 reviews for Good Fortune Chinese
This was our second try for Chinese delivery in the area.
I got the vegetable saute ($6.50) and unfortunately by the time it was delivered the sauce had settled to a solid (WAAAY too much cornstarch in it). I wasn't really hungry that night so I pretty much threw mine away and had toast for dinner instead. My boyfriend ordered the cashew chicken ($7.75) and thought it was okay but said he wouldn't order it again.
They have several family dinner combinations ranging from $16-35 and they serve a lot of American food off of their "Comfort Corner Menu" including subs, burgers, pasta, chicken tenders, etc.
Having now had two Chinese delivery places here, this one is definitely my favorite over China Express. Dinner combinations are about the same price as China Express, maybe a little more, but they also come with soup in addition to the main dish, rice, and egg roll. The General Tso's chicken I got was much better. The breading was softer, and the chicken more tender. The egg roll was also very tasty. Like virtually any take-out place, it won't set the world on fire, but on a night when I'm too lazy to cook and want something cheap, it's just a phone call away. Not to mention, the lady I ordered from had a much better command of English than I expect from Chinese carryout.
