I'm on a kick at the moment, remembering all the places I loved when I lived back East. This is in my top 3 breakfast places.

I am a coffee, French Toast and soft bacon guy. In order for me to really like you establishment as a "breakfast place". You must do those three things right. And this place sure does. I hate when I ask for bacon soft, and I have to send it back. Never remember having to do that here. The place has the ol' 1940's feel, and a very extensive breakfast menu. Waitstaff, although I'm sure has changed since I was there, was always pleasant and happy. Always able to get a seat, even on busy Sunday brunch days. I miss Good Days, but I hope you go and enjoy a good breakfast in my honor. Tell them I sent you, and when they say.. "who?" say, "Oh don't worry, he doesn't know you either." and then laugh to eachother....

This restaurant definitely seems to cater to the older crowd, which is reflected not only in their decorum, but also in their menu, offering standard American fare. There's nothing here that will really tantalize your taste buds, but some of their old standbys are delicious.

One plus is that they do serve breakfast all day, so if you're just waking up at the crack of 3 in the afternoon, you can head down for some eggiewegs.

Most of the wait staff is very pleasant and attentive. However, there is one older woman there who definitely has attitude and acts as if she does NOT want to be there. I went into this review thinking just that and have read two others who reported who no doubt is the same woman. As someone who works in Customer Service, I know its not the easiest job and we're all human, but its one that definitely requires people skills, and if you're having a bad day you just have to fake it. I can't blame the restaurant for one bad server, but if three people HERE have had a similar experience, how many others have also and not said anything about it?

As a resident of West Bridgewater, I have been eating at Good Days since they opened back in early '00s. Right there that is a telling fact that I keep going back. They are fairly consistent with their food, but we sometimes leave feeling like we didn't quite get what we paid for.

My favorite thing is the Cheeseburger Club (which comes with fries & onion rings). Also, their Banana Cream Pie is DELICIOUS! Also, I always get a squirt of cherry syrup in my Coke!

They also offer fried dough, which is a nice treat!

They are always VERY busy on the weekends, especially mornings afternoons... so if you dare to go out and fight the crowds, you do so at your own risk. Still, you can head in there on a Friday or Saturday around 7 and there's no wait.

Formerly I was very happy there.  Today I'm not.  We ordered the special pot roast and veal parm.  Neither was very good.  But more annoying was we were in constant vigilance to keep a few gnatty things and flies from bothering us and landing on the food.  When I see this many bugs in the dining area I'm always curious what their kitchen looks like.
9/25/11:  Gave them one last try.  Food was disappointing, not prepared the way we asked for it, expensive, and just as many flies in the joint as the last time I complained about it.  Sorry Charley.  You all just got the kiss of death.

Nice diner, basically.  Good food, good prices, nice retro decor harking back to the 50's & 60's.  ALways a fuun 50's soundtrack going.

2 out of three visits here, there have been several classic cars in the lot, which leads inevitably to chatting with an owner when they come out and find you gawking at their car.

Friendly staff.  Family of 4 can eat here for $20.

Interesting B & W pics on the walls.

Pretty much right off of 24 (east on 106, right on 28) if you're heading down toward the cape or heading in and looking for good grub cheap  and you would like to avoid McWendyKing's.

Revised down to 3 stars-food took way too long last 2 visits.

If you are in the West Bridgewater area, looking for a decent breakfast, than you should consider Good Days.  I haven't been there for anything but breakfast, but if the quality of their later meals is anything like their breakfasts, I am sure you will not be disappointed!

There is often a wait for a table, so don't expect to get in and seated right away.  That may be a bit of a pain, but it speaks volumes as to the popularity of the restaurant.

Service is usually fast and friendly, though on a busy day it may take a little longer for the food to hit the table once ordered, but that is to be expected in a place of this size with the volume of business it gets.

I highly recommend you try the banana bread, it is out of this world!  And my daughter rather enjoys their cinnamon toast.  Food is well portioned, cooked to order, and delicious.  I have yet to have a bad time at Good Days.  ;)

Oh the days of high school when I'd skip English class and get a sausage egg and cheese sandwich here with friends for breakfast (while the old people knew that we were skipping, ha.)

Used to be Estabrook's. Good breakfast, I haven't been here in quite awhile.

The menu here is a little to big for my taste. It's a lot like the menu at Percy's Place up the road in Middleboro. When it comes to breakfast I like things simple. When you order the simple things, they do it well. The ham egg and cheese omelets I order are always cooked well. The coffee is fresh, and I like that the serve the tea in a little tea pot. When I take my mother out for breakfast here she always gets a pancake. They look pretty good and one day I'll try one, but until that day comes I'll have to take my mothers word that they are good.
I've been here for lunch a few times, and it's just average diner food. I will almost always get the chicken parm sandwich. It's nothing special but it's far from bad. I love the oldies music that is always playing, and the wait staff is always pleasant.

Good Days has terrific service - fast and friendly wait staff.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at low prices.

Their menu is absolutely massive and all of the food that I've had there has been good. (Not greasy either!)

For a college student in Bridgewater, Good Days is perfect. It's close, yummy and cheap!

Great local place. To be more realistic, this could be classified as a diner, it has more of a "cheap eats" feel. Very cheap, I remember getting a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of soup for just a couple of bucks. It wasn't some giant sandwich with all sorts of extras. It was just like you would make it at home....

Also, they have an ice cream stand that also sells Del's lemoade....yummy!

Good Eats is a 50s/60s style diner, which, has a lot of good food really cheap. They serve breakfast all day, and sandwiches and other diner-type food in the afternoons and evenings. My favorite item on the menu is the triple play: 3 pancakes, 3 sausages, 3 bacon strips, and 3 eggs cooked however you like them. The sausage was delicious, the bacon strips were perfectly cooked, and the eggs were great. The pancakes left something to be desired, but considering the whole 2 plates of food is all of 5 bucks and change, how much can you really complain?

My only real complaint is that pretty much everything costs about $5, no matter how much or how little the food is. A single waffle costs the same as the triple play, and you can't upgrade the triple play with some better pancakes, like the delicious apple pancakes or chocolate chip pancakes.

Either way, Good Eats is a nice little breakfast place, it gets a little busy on Sundays, but I'm told it's quiet during the week. Check it out if you're in the area.

One of the most extensive menus around. Breakfast is served all day & the part of the menu I order off of 90% of the time. The waitstaff is generally cheerful & more than willing to please. They pay attention just enough to let you know they are there for anything you need.

I avoid Saturday & Sunday morning as they are busiest time for this restaurant.

I went there after the Bettencourt motorcycle auction. I had passed it the day previous. I had clam chowder and a patty melt, and a piece of banana cream pie. The server, Christine was very personable and knowledgeable. My burger was cooked medium rare, just like I asked for. The fries were golden brown, which is how I think a French Fry should be cooked. The clam chowder was really good with a lot of clams and a nice hint of onions. Even the Cole slaw was wicked good. It had a nice bite and a bit if sweetness. Even though I don't want to admit it, one of my favorite Cole slaws is from "The Colonel" The Cole slaw here was as good, if not better. Everything that I had was very good. Nothing was average or worse. I would definitely go back again.

PS. They don't make their own hash, so I didn't try it.

Went recently around 11am in the middle of the week for breakfast. Our server was an older woman who looked like she didn't want to be there, but dragged herself in for the occasion. Other than that service was OK. We were seated promptly and the food and drinks showed up in a reasonable amount of time. The food was lackluster. Pancakes are OK. Don't bother with the home fries, unless you are on one of those bland food diets.

The firs ttime I went to this restaurant I actually really enjoyed that happy homie atmosphere however, I went back this morning for some breakfast. First of all I could tell that everything was pre-made frozen not fresh basically the easy way out of cooking. And even if that isn't want they use it sure tastes and looks like it. The waitress this morning RUDE RUDE RUDE. She mumbled everything she said you could tell she didn't want to be there and just was unfriendly. I will not be eating here again.

I guess I would have to disagree with calling Good Days "cheap". But they do have very cheap breakfast options during the week for the geriatric/unemployed crowd ($3.99 and under). For Yelp's sake it is cheap (under $10), but for dinners especially be prepared to pay about $10 a plate.

Anyway, my biggest beef came when I ordered the banana bread french toast and was not allowed to substitute ANYTHING for the breakfast meat (I am a vegetarian). I ended up paying full price and just omitted the meat.  I mean, couldn't I have had homefries or even toast instead? Certainly those are cheaper than bacon or sausage. When I inquired about this to the manager, he proceeded to tell me that when one starts to allow substitutions, things can quickly get out of hand and customers will constantly try to switch things up on the menu to suit their tastes. Ok, but both my parents worked in the same restaurant business he was telling me about and upheld the belief that the customer is always right. There was no attempt to remedy my situation, and I felt as though he was generalizing what could happen to my unique experience.

On a previous visit my baked pancake was burnt.

The ice cream is nice and cheaper than other places. The music is pretty good; you'll actually hear oldies.

I loved the retro ambiance and to honor it I ordered a chocolate malted the Fonze would have loved, and it was indeed delicious.  My thanks to my waitress (Seanna) who was extremely patient and helpful as I tried to make my selections from their very extensive "traditional" American food menu.  The restaurant has a strong welcoming family vibe for seniors, youngsters and everyone in between.  Thanks Happy Days!
