It gets four stars for the ice cream. The goldf course is average but the batting cages are pretty good. Ice cream is by far the best part. It's Richardson's ice cream and it's delicious

Hubby and I went on Saturday afternoon. I would have expected it to be much busier on such a beautiful day, but it wasn't, which was probably a plus for us, but now I'm wondering if maybe it wasn't busy because it really could use a little TLC.
The water on the mini-golf course was brown and foamy when it reached the pool near the "boat", which was really nasty to look at. The grounds needed some cleaning. The batting cages have signs everywhere that state a helmet must be worn, no exceptions, yet the kid at the booth told us we didn't need them. And I'm thinking that after seeing the conditions elsewhere, I might not have wanted to put on one of their helmets.
And there were bees or other flying insects all around the snack counter and seating area. I don't think it would take much to really make this place shine, but for now, I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. -

I noticed that similarity in business format(mini golf/batting cage/ice cream stand) between this one and one I know in Middleton. And needless to say, it was chained business. It is part of Richardson's. Maybe because of time I visited(7-8pm), I was disappointed with poor availability on the batting cages. They were about 10 cages and only two were available and both were in use when I tried to use. It seemed that manual ball feeding was required for the machine. 4 tokens for $5 for batting cage. So my friend and I decided to do miniature golf. From bottom of the hill to the top and to the bottom course was quite fun. Unlike to one in Middleton, there were a few holes that require roll the ball over the creek. I thought that it was not very good idea. We almost lost the ball in the pond. But thankfully both time, the ball got stuck in the between the rock down the stream. It's $6 for a course.
