My favorite froyo place around! All the different flavors are yummy & rich, but yet still lowfat or nonfat yogurt. If i didnt know better, i could easily mistaken it for ice cream. Small size, which is 8 oz and up to 4 flavors, is enough to satisfy me!

All time best flavor there is Strawberry. Compare their strawberry to any other froyo place, and you'll like Golden Spoon better without a doubt! Props to the neon colored flavorful gummy bears too...so good :) Other notable flavors are: cupcake, pistachio, and chocolate! They change flavors a lot so dont be afraid to sample. Employees here are patient, and they dont mind if you sample multiple flavors like I do.

I've been to Golden Spoon multiple times (probably more than 10), and I  like this location better than the others; the one in brea has less frozen and less rich yogurt.

You get free yogurt on your birthday too :)

The dirty manager behind the counter with dirty light brown hair and bue sweats on was rude and seemed to be bothered while playing on Facebook.
The yogurt left a after taste that didnt go away. I asked for 2 samples and she rolled her eyes.
    Wont be back!

I love this place. Great-tasting and healthy non-fat (except Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter Cup, which are low fat) yogurt, including some yummy non-sugar added flavors!

I typically get a small (which is actually quite large, newbies might prefer a mini to start out with)-- very filling and only 200 calories (lower if you select a non-sugar added flavor).

Be sure to try Graham Cracker and the coffee flavors, you won't be disappointed!

Also, the manager (Michel-- spelling might be off) is a very nice woman. We both like Xena. :)

    *Father's Day Food Coma Adventure*

Our next stop on the Father's Day Food Coma brings us to Golden Spoons, in Walnut, CA. Golden Spoons seems to be a family favorite (at least to my parents). I would prefer Yogurtland, but it's Father's Day, not Mark day (there should be a Mark Day!). One flavors never fails to impress me, PEANUT BUTTER! And loads of COOKIE DOUGH topping. What better way to further induce your food coma? :) I guess the frozen yogurt is softening the blow of what Serrano Buffet did. Plus it sure does settle your nerves down to help you take a nap afterward.

Golden Spoon is a great place, even if the giant Yogurtland is taking over. The regular cup is A LOT of yogurt, especially in a calorie/size perspective (for you health nuts). Stop on by!

There are many options for frozen yogurt in the area.  I don't think I'll be back here any time soon.  This place is more expensive compared to some of the other places.  The people behind the counter serve your yogurt and any additional goodies, in the Pinkberry fashion.  I think I prefer to be able to serve myself.  I know that it might not be as clean, but I just like that option.  There are a variety of flavors, but so does every other yogurt place (and some of the other places have better flavor options).  There are plenty of options of goodies to add on, but again so do the other places (again, I think some of the other places have better choices in this category too).  Probably the only benefit to coming to this place is that you can eat your yogurt with a golden spoon.  Eh. I think next time I'll pass.

Golden Spoon is legendary.  Like so many others, I love the current froyo craze and hope it never ends.  That being said, I don't care so much to go and try all of the seemingly endless yogurt shops that keep cropping up everywhere.  Golden Spoon is great.

They are always switching out flavors, so there's always something new to try, if that's what you're into.  I, on the other hand, know what I like and never stray too far from the known.  I usually get a regular sized cup with half "Just Chocolate" and half "Peanut Butter Cup."  It reminds me of eating a Reese's in froyo form.  The peanut butter cup flavor is so accurately flavored that it never ceases to amaze me.  The staff are friendly 99% of the time and will let you sample the flavors.  Occasionally I will top the swirly yogurt with brownies, if I'm feeling especially piggish.

It hurts me to do this but I have to deduct one star for the following anecdote:  I was in the area for lunch with a friend and we finished the meal off with G Spoon.  Of course, I ordered the usual and noticed the chocolate was a little off.  I thought maybe it was because I had just eaten and my taste buds were off or something. Anyway, I had my friend taste the chocolate and she said it was disgusting, so we went back in to tell the yogurtista.  I was shocked at her response when I told her that the chocolate tasted sour - she grabbed a sample cup, served some and then said, "tastes fine to me."  A little out of breath, I remarked something to the effect of, "Well, I always order this and know how it should taste.  Can I order something else?"  She begrudgingly served me another yogurt, but damn, what a bitch!  I meant to write a letter to the manager but I forgot.

One of the larger Golden Spoon places I've seen, seating probably up to 20.  If planning to buy frozen yogurt to go, bring a minimate cooler with ice.  Putting them in the freezer for an hour or two makes for something reminiscent of Haagen Daaz!

    Favorite flavors:
    - Heath
    - Cappuccino
    - Pistachio

    Not-so favorite:
    - Vanilla (overly sweet and artificial tasting)

So we went to bed bath and beyond next door and they have a promotion where you spend 20 dollars there and show your receipt you get a free small yogurt from golden spoon. Seems like a nice promo to get people to come in but when we get there the worker at golden spoon tells us they have to keep the receipt, so how do you return whatever you bought at bed bath beyond when/if it breaks? So small yogurt or being able to return the things you bought at bed bath beyond without any hassle. Forget it what a dumb promo.

I feel really bad that this particular location is getting a one star. It just happens to be the one i went to because i work so close to it, but if i could give all Golden Spoon's a 1 star I would.

Well in my quest to find the best fro-yo since I just discovered it like a month an half ago, I decided to try Golden Spoon. I walked in and the guy was totally nice and it was super clean in there, so no complaint there. What I didn't know is that they serve it for you since i'm so used to getting it myself at those other places. I was sad because that meant i wouldn't get to try it before pouring a lot of it in like I usually do at other places. So I got vanilla and i think it was strawberry with almond rocca. Which i've had before somewhere else, except here it was super sweet. There was no fruit to choose from except for strawberries and pineapple(?) that were in syrup, not fresh. They're fro-yo is creamier, more like ice cream and it doesn't feel as refreshing like yogurt should. It tasted super artificial and like i said my topping was too sweet so i couldn't even finish eating it. Oh and by the way they don't charge by the ounce. They have a set price for each size and then they charge you for each topping on top of that. I guess like pizza. But not good. I'm never ever having it again. Sorry golden spoon as i'm sure you were one of the first ones to come up with the idea and now everyone is doing it, but better.

Even thought Golden Spoon is one of the original Froyo joints, they have not yet gotten the quality/taste down.  I had the tart mango yogurt.  It was not "tart" at all.  It did not taste like mango at all... I'm still not sure what it tasted like.  The texture was like a sorbet... nothing like froyo.  I don't think I would come here again to try any other flavors.

We love this place.  Great frozen yogurt and very friendly and polite staff.  Always enjoy  coming in.  They stamp a card and you get free yogurt when the card is full.
Good sitting area outside.  There is a Chipotlle a Subway a In and Out and a Pollo Loco in the same lot.  Good for a quick bite and a nice desert.  Prices are good.  The mini has almost no calories and it is only 1 point in Weight Watchers.

This place is terrible. Maybe I got the wrong flavor but it wasn't good. Maybe I am not a fan of healthy stuff in general.  Make sure you try samples of the flavor you want BEFORE you order otherwise you are in for a big surprise. I never went back to this place and don't plan to anytime soon!

When they're good, they're really good. But when they're bad, it's awful. My favorite flavors are Classic Coffee, St. Patty's Mint, Chocolate Malt, or Strawberry-(when all else fails) and always w/ the roasted almonds. Yummy! Creamy as heck on good days and more like flavored ice on bad ones. Ick!! Overall, I love it and go there at least 3-4 times a week. Reviewers are absolutely correct that GS's flavors can be too sweet or taste too artificial that's why I stick to my favorites. They're almost fail-proof. Most of their flavors are a hit or miss anyway. That's too bad for their business. A better variety of flavors, consistent creamy texture, and a more non-artificial taste would be a huge improvement. Yogurt is creamy no matter what and so should it be at Golden Spoon....always. However, their prices are reasonable and worth it as opposed to Tutti Frutti in Diamond Bar which is pricey (per oz.) but is absolutely horrible all the way around and not worth it!! YUK!!
