I've been to this bar and it's a dump. It's a dive. And being there creeps me out. I brought somebody there once and drank my beer as fast as I could to get out. Redecorated? Doubtful. Eclectic clientele? Absolutely not. I'll poke my head in again just to double check but I don't think it's going to be any different.
This place has been redecorated and now has a livelier atmosphere. Eclectic clientele, great selection of cold beers (I like 'em cold) and good bartenders. One of the nicer neighborhood bars in this neighborhood!

This lounge has become my favorite hang out . The DJ pumps out good music, the dance floor is packed, and the bartenders keep the drinks flowing. On the nights without a DJ it's a little more laid back but the people that come here are friendly and I always have a good time.
this drinkery has a primarily hispanic clientele. the entrance is actually at 1358 fruitvale not international. as i left, i saw a security guard outside whose charge was to watch both the bar and the liquor store on the corner. her presence reinforced my intentions not to return here. this drinkery is very small. should trouble erupt, it would be difficult to avoid becoming collateral damage.
menu: no draft beer, pool table, internet jukebox. two flatscreens
entree: tall gin/tonic(4).
