We are visiting from out of town. Never had Koren food before and overall everything was delicious. We did the family style for 5 and we had 7 people total. Plenty of food! Everything had great flavor.
My 1 year old loved the clear noodles (forgot the actual name) and I loved the sweet and sour pork. The only thing I did not care for was the plum wine. It was dark colored and had a weird taste.
We will be coming back on our next visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kristina B.GA, GA31445Apr 19, 20244 check-ins
We have been here a handful of times now and have enjoyed the food we have ordered pretty much every single time leaving us nice and full. Food is usually consistent, service is good, and the restaurant is clean. I have no problem recommending this Korean spot to those in the Fort Moore area. The only thing I would mention is we do normally come here just before the dinner rush so the restaurant is typically quiet and not as busy during that time.

The best Korean food in Columbus! My family have been coming here for over 30 years and will keep coming here when we want Korean food. This time in particular we ordered the Dinner Special for 3. It was sooo much food. The bulgogi was delicious and we honestly couldn't get enough of the japchae. There was only one person working the floor when we got there but service was still top notch! Enjoy!!!

My family and I went to dinner last week and we all had a wonderful experience. I must admit, I think I prefer going for lunch rather than dinner! I say this because you get more items with your meal than you do for dinner.
Nonetheless, the food was fresh and delicious. I almost always get Beef Bulgogi but I decided to get out of my comfort zone and tried something different. I got Korean style pork ribs, which were tasty; however, the spice level did catch me off guard.
The customer service was great as usual, I know that it is a family owned business, and I have never had anything but great service. Therefore, I was not shocked by our service. The restaurant is small and simple. As I said, it's a family owned business, but it is really well-kept, always clean, the restrooms are clean so there are no complaints there. I would definitely go again, of course whenever I am in Columbus and my Mama wants to have some Korean food, lol!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Walter R.Columbus, GA10043Jan 11, 2024
I come to this restaurant almost once a week. I order the same entree almost everybody and may change my sides and appetizers up every now and then. This place is the best Korean restaurant in town hands down. There's no competition. The hostesses are always welcoming, food is always fresh. Just a great environment.

I have since moved away from Columbus but still think about Golden Chopsticks when I crave Korean food.I try to visit every time I go back home. Don't sleep on this place. Do yourself a favor and go visit.

Great hidden gem! They've been in business for 50 years. Food is delicious, and service is quick and friendly. We tried the Bulgogi, Daeji Bulgogi and Mandu Gook. Good portion sizes and everything is very flavorful. One of our favorites spots for lunch in Columbus.

Wow, business was booming here when we came for takeout. We had to call 10 times to be placed on hold just to get disconnected; I tried another few times (and just when reaching that tipping point of giving up) finally was successful in calling in an order. I find out at the scene that there was at least 6 parties waiting to pickup their orders vs. one floor staff who was trying to take these influx of calls & walk-ins and package large orders of take-outs. And it was barely 4pm - not even prime meal time!
For our meal, we ordered:
Al-Jigae (pollack roe soup)
Galbi-ugeoji Tang (short rib soup)
Galchi (belt fish) & Mackerel - grilled + marinated
The soups were hearty, but I could definitely taste the MSG. I guess it was more on the "subtle" end of the spectrum if compared at other Korean places but enough for me to have to water it down for my taste. As for the grilled & marinated fish (on the spicy end) aren't served in other Korean cuisines we frequent so that was a treat to have these entree options!
I'd come back for the banchan (side dishes) too - complimentary egg rolls are also not common so we'll gladly take that when we can :)Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 4, 2021
So this was my first time here. The food was amazing and I will definitely be coming back. The social distancing is still in effect so I love that. They also had hand sanitizer on each table. The food was tasteful. I love their kimichi especially the cucumber version. The staff was friendly and very respect. The atmosphere was please and very clean.

The food was awesome. Best Korean food in Columbus . It's not very big, but the service is great. The portions are plenty big enough to fill you up with some leftover. ( for me anyway) It's definitely my favorite Korean restaurant hands down. Family run.

The food is awesome . You may look at the menu and say " its expensive " but you get so much food . My goodness i end up eating days on it . The bulgogi is wonderful and the little sides of pickled veggies and kimchi are insanely tasty ! If you love yourself get some food relax and enjoy the quiet comfort . If you are of age get some saki it is delicious!
