Fast, cheap, tasty, and a free drink with $10 order; very nice.
I recently moved to the area and was hoping to find a good Chinese food place. I've tried a few of the local offerings and this is by far my favorite. The deliveries are fast, the food is very tasty and very fresh, and the staff is friendly. Between my girlfriend and I, we have ordered several different dishes and are pleased with most of them. Actually, my only complaint was with the Kung Pao chicken. It had just too much celery for my liking, but it still had a good flavor to it. My favorite so far is the General Tso's chicken.
I regularly order from this establishment and it is my go to Chinese take out place for the FLG.
You know, I'm say this place is solid in terms of hole in the wall chinese, the all day combination platters are a good portion size and cheap. However the rice wasn't great. Everything was decent, but its no diamond in the rough or anything.
Got spring rolls and the eggplant with garlic sauce. Spring roll filling was mushy, almost pasty. Couldn't tell if it was overcooked or not fesh but either way, not good. Eggplant was oily and drenched in bland sauce. No thanks.
Fast, cheap, and reliable. We got it tonight and you know the free soda you get with your delivery order? Well, today it just happened to be two cans of Mt Dew. Score!
HOW do you screw up chicken fried rice? Seriously. What we got was flavorless regular fried rice, without egg, and with only three (count em!) half-inch pieces of undercooked chicken in an entire quart. Are they kidding?
